DTG086 0023.Explanation of the Fourth Chapter.g2.0f

English

Therefore, these, which are contained by the sixteen moments of forbearance and knowledge, are the sixteen moments of forbearance and knowledge related to the aspects of the four truths because they are the result. Having perfectly attained the sixteen aspects such as the forbearance of knowledge of the Dharma of suffering, having become accustomed to non-conceptualization, because it is the cause of the pure worldly designation without afflictions. Whatever is worldly, namely the moments of forbearance and knowledge of the aspect of not manifestly clinging to the grasped and the grasper, because it arises later from the non-conceptual, so the subsequent mind, whatever is contained by the conceptual, is the fruit that corresponds to itself. Discrimination is the fruit of the nature of perfect purity, is the reversal of the perception of form, etc., is the cause of those previously mentioned. The reason for arising, etc., is that the characteristic of the moment of knowledge is not the essence, but it is considered to be the cause of arising it. The meaning of approximation is what is said by the yogis, etc. In short, even the views of the Hearers, etc., are only in accordance with realization, that is, in accordance with the wisdom of hearing. The yogis are those who possess the perfection of meditation on that path. Designation is the behavior that is in accordance with the world of the nature of yoga, such as magical powers, etc., is definite, while fabrication is indefinite. This is said without understanding the purpose of subduing sentient beings. For the sake of those to be tamed, even if it does not conform to the meaning of realization, in terms of designation, it is similar to the Bhagavan who does not possess discrimination, therefore, approximating with the moment of knowledge

It should be considered that one's own awareness is not the awareness of others, because one's own awareness itself is unreasonable. Regarding the path of meditation, although there is much to say, first, the reason for explaining the differences is "below it" and so on. The path of meditation is profound because it has profundity. So, what is profound? It is emptiness and so on. So, what is the profundity of emptiness and so on? It is liberation from the extremes of superimposition and defamation. The word-by-word explanation is saying that emptiness and so on is emptiness, that is, emptiness and suchness and so on. "Without form" means preventing the superimposition on form. For emptiness and non-emptiness, emptiness and so on and form and so on are contradictory because they are mutually contradictory. Similarly, it should be observed that there are no feelings and so on in emptiness and so on. Since form-emptiness and so on are separate, form and emptiness and so on are contradictory to defamation, because if the emptiness of form and so on does not exist, it would lead to having its own nature, therefore, by saying that emptiness and so on is not other than form and so on, defamation is prevented. Similarly, it should be observed that emptiness and so on is not other than feelings and so on. Similarly, in order, emptiness and form and so on are the extremes of superimposition and defamation, because in this way, these are the ultimate of destruction. What is emptiness and so on that is liberated and separated from these? That is profound, that is, emptiness and so on, there is no form and so on in emptiness and so on, and there is no emptiness and so on in form and so on, these are what yogis are to realize directly, therefore, because it has profundity, the path of meditation described below is profound and difficult to measure. The so-called hearing and so on. The so-called discernment and so on is an explanation, that is, when all aspects are manifestly and completely realized, the name and words of the Prajnaparamita

When meditating on the nature of speech, letters, and phonetic letters, for the three, such as the branch of definite discernment, it is called "the meaning of certain seeing," such as the warmth and so on mentioned in the three instances, and the various distinctions of the aspects that are focused on the meaning of seeing and meditating, one should repeatedly think, measure, and ascertain the wisdom arising from hearing, thinking, and meditating in order, and these three words should be spoken. When meditating on the perfection of wisdom, which is the nature of the path, at that time, the so-called "samadhi" is connected to the practice of the path, and in the preliminary, main, and concluding parts, as previously mentioned, the branch of definite discernment of the mind, which is extremely superior by focusing on the absence of grasping and so on by the wisdom of meditation, and the aspects of the object of focus of the path of seeing and meditating, are repeatedly thought about, measured, and ascertained, these are three words, and thus the path of meditation is continuous. The object of focus of the branch of definite discernment and so on
