Because by means of (wisdom) one knows that phenomena such as form are unborn. The word "etc." refers to the absorption of cessation. These themselves are the cause of perfect enlightenment, therefore the limb that generates it is correct, that is, the correct cause. The complete exhaustion of these is non-attachment. The so-called separation from non-virtue, etc., is because only the body, etc., that is associated with non-virtue is unusable, because it is heavy. The so-called taming sentient beings, etc., is because there is no aspiration for the benefit of others as desired, so they cannot be tamed, because they are attached to the enjoyment of form, etc. The so-called object, etc., is because attachment to all combinations is the reason for not seeing the faults of the object. The so-called great man, etc., is because those who have moles, etc., who are not great men, are the cause of sin, killing fish, etc., and becoming the cause of death. Because of abiding in emptiness, because there is the thought of selflessness, one should not be attached to the combination and subsequent combination of the five aggregates, realms, and sources that have been spoken of, and one should not be too attached. In this way, the abode of combination and subsequent combination, that is, the difference in behavior, is separately prevented. Having the meditation of the unborn nature of all phenomena, because there is no basis, one is free from all attachments, and because the dissimilar aspects are clear, one abandons the dissimilar aspects such as what is grasped, and thus realizes, that is, omniscience is the three wisdoms. The dharmas that obstruct them are the faults mentioned earlier. In this regard, as before, the so-called abiding in emptiness, one should not abide in combination and subsequent combination, and the meaning of the subsequent words is also the same as before. The so-called conceptual thought, etc., is because the faults of demons, etc., arise from that, so correctly speaking, conceptual thought itself is a fault, and by completely knowing this, there is no attachment to the collection of causes of enlightenment, such as giving, etc.

English

This is because of that reason. The so-called "grasping" and so on, is merely because of clinging to the appearance of duality. The swords and arrows and so on of the demons and their retinues are the actions of the body's senses and so on, therefore there is no war for the yogis, because obstacles are pacified by love or by not attending to all dharmas. This is what is meant. The so-called "giving" and so on, is because one knows the difference of being liberated from miserliness and so on, which are produced by giving and so on in one's own continuum. The so-called "all dharmas" and so on, is because form and so on have the nature of atoms and so on, and are free from the causes of freedom and so on, and abundance and non-abundance. The Dharma of realization here is Bodhi. The so-called "manifest faith" and so on, is because one obtains manifest faith by the power of the six superknowledges, and one will definitely obtain true wisdom, that is, omniscience is the self-nature of the three bodies, one's own three grounds, because it is one's own ground, it is definitely certain. Abiding as it is in the eighth ground and so on, is because it is undoubtedly certain as the wisdom of no object of focus. The so-called "single-minded devotion" and so on, is because the excellence of single-minded devotion and the arising of the mind of enlightenment and other dharmas are manifest, and one gives up one's life for the sake of the Dharma of all-knowingness and so on, just like Sadāprarudita and so on, or going to other places that would become obstacles to life, or selling one's body and so on. The nature of wisdom as described above is what the Bodhisattvas have manifestly realized through various means. Therefore, isn't it that others cannot realize it? If it is said to be the nature of others' realization, how is it to be understood? The nature of wisdom is the cause of the result of being free from conceptualization and so on, because the result arises from the collection of causes. Whatever can be inferred, because it does not depend on other things, is called self-nature. It is in accordance with this reasoning that it is shown that it is only the nature by inference, therefore it is said, "If it is so" and so on.
