What others say is contradictory here, so I regard it as strange, so thought the Holy Maitreya. When internal heretics show that it is not a means to enlightenment, the selflessness that pervades everything is shown. As to what enlightenment is like, the guru's oral instructions are briefly summarized. From the entrance of the teachings, the meaning implied by the words that are not mentioned in the verses is to be shown. Among them, the phrase "birth and..." means that the enlightenment of the view of emptiness of a separate self is not reasonable, which means that the enlightenment of externalists who hold to existence is not reasonable. The yogi is endowed with the union of selflessness that pervades everything, so he can eliminate the obscurations of knowledge. Thus, he eliminates the net of discrimination, truly without regression, and should be combined with the following text. Why? Why is it discriminated like this? It is said that the phrase "birth and..." has been spoken. Among the externalists, some say that there are permanent, self, and the nature of consciousness and the nature of non-consciousness. They are like the flame of a lamp, and should not be permanent, so they do not allow birth and death. Among the internal heretics, some say that they are liberated from permanence and annihilation, and are the nature of God and Purusha, etc. Their nature of permanence and impermanence cannot be one, and because they are not real, they should not allow birth and death. Whatever is empty of birth and death is like a rabbit's horn in the conventional world, and is established by admitting permanence and selflessness. The remaining permanence and freedom, etc., are also the same. Endowed with such intention, he initiates the contemplation of the manifest aggregates, because it is the basis of self, it is the top of the basis of the view of existence, so he begins to practice with the vajra posture, etc., which can eliminate it. It is said that there is no self, only aggregates. Thus, according to the tenets of externalist Buddhism, because of the emptiness of birth and death, he thinks of selflessness.

Abandoning the attachment to the self, which is cultivated and manifestly accumulated. Separated from that, the aggregates, etc., which are empty of self, that is, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, are merely produced from the twelve links such as ignorance, so truly focus on the law of arising and ceasing, which is interdependent. It is called the law of arising and ceasing in the conventional sense, and because it is recognized in the world, it focuses on the basis of the co-emergent view of the collection of destructibles. Afterwards, in order to eliminate it, because it is certain that blue and its wisdom are taken together, it is called the tenet that is within the knowable, blue and its wisdom, blue and another are also thought to be flesh-eating ghosts or pillars, etc., blue and wisdom are merely holding it, so it is falsely established, so it is certain to take it together with appearance or without appearance, so like the second month, because it is realized, this is only mind, there is no meaning of external objects. Also, because the place etc. are definitely established, with the tenet that is not the same, the certainty of its established place etc. is even gone, because it exists in dreams, it is uncertain, so it is considered not established, flesh-eating ghosts or pillars etc. do not exist, because the external object is matter, because it cannot appear, so it is considered that it does not exist, and when thinking and focusing, because the attachment to the mind with the appearance of the grasper is not completely abandoned, because there is no external object, it is unreasonable for it to hold it itself, even from beginningless time, because there is the habit of passing from one to another and its habit, so the grasping appearance itself of the appearance that the mind does not establish two is attachment. Abandoning the attachment to external objects is called like before, because it is unreasonable to focus on external objects, so completely cut off attachment to it. By the cause and effect themselves, it is reasonable that the object to be grasped and the grasper exist by depending on each other. After that, it is also without appearance.
