Because multiple conceptualizations do not arise. Even if experience is established, in order to eliminate some inverted views, it is said that "this is only approximately establishing conceptualization." It is mentioned that the scriptures say, "(Scripture, Sanskrit: āgama, Romanized Sanskrit: āgama, literal Chinese meaning: transmitted), this is to explain the cause of each sentient being's consciousness." Because it is impossible for many conceptualizations to arise simultaneously. This is what is to be said. Therefore, the mind of sentient beings is one conceptualization, this is a summary statement. Precisely because of this, the author of the Pramāṇavārttika also said that two conceptualizations do not exist at the same time. This is what is said. The clarification of the three examinations is also not sequential, this is what is said. The previously mentioned minds that occur in sequence, even if they are many, are not related to Bodhi, this is connected to the previous text. How to understand it? The method of attaining the unsurpassed Buddha's Bodhi, such as the four mindfulnesses, etc., and realizing and understanding the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, understanding their own nature in an illusory way. Why is it not related to Bodhi? It is said "that," etc., as the previously mentioned mind, its nature is that it immediately disintegrates as soon as it arises, this has no continuation, because there is no cause, and the thing itself is also like that. Therefore, because there is no connection between them, that is to say, one is not connected to the other. Therefore, the cause is special, through generating the mind that manifests the characteristics of the four mindfulnesses, etc., how can it become an act of meaningful things that have the characteristics of attaining Bodhi? "Unreasonable" refers to other meanings. In this way, if the minds that occur in sequence can gather together to attain Bodhi, then gathering is also impossible, because it immediately disintegrates as soon as it arises, this is what I think. Saying "that is not correct" means that no matter which three examinations, those are not good, this is what the tenet proponents say. Explaining the verses such as "lamp," said "how," etc., here also are the flame and the heart.

Oh, these are two examinations, namely, examining from the sequence of each moment, or from the essence being burned up after contact. Among them, in order to eliminate the first examination, it is said "how" etc. The flame is the flame of a lamp. The essence is merely being burned up. These moments of contact refer to the nature of aggregation, the initial ability to burn, without a second moment, meaning that without a second moment capable of burning, the flame is the burner, so it is the cause, and the essence is the one being burned, so it is the result, this respective reason is the nature of self. If the burner and the one being burned, the flame and the essence are the burner and the one being burned themselves, it is not possible like this, this is the remaining part. Why? The own cause of the flame and the essence, meaning that, with the nature of proximate taking and the moments of acting together mutually, through their mutual paths, with the power of continuous entry, at the same time, that is, the arising of contact produced simultaneously, meaning that whatever is produced by the contact of flame and essence, because no special distinction is made, it is merely common, acting as the cause of respective proximate taking and acting together, produced simultaneously, just like horns growing simultaneously, how can it be said that the nature of cause and effect, the flame and the essence are in the state of burner and the one being burned? This is how it is thought. Similarly, because there is ability, therefore the arising of flame and essence, is the second moment, or not the first moment, just like before, the nature of cause and effect, the flame and the essence cannot be the nature of burner and the one being burned, this is the remaining part. Because it will become the fault of being permanent etc., meaning that, if it is admitted that the second moment arises without the first moment, that is because there is no cause. Because there is no cause, it does not depend on others. It will be permanent or non-existent. Things sometimes arise, because they depend. Through such reasoning, it will become the fault of being permanent or non-existent.
