Because there is no fault as previously stated. Understanding this means that there is no obstacle to the arising of the so-called antidote. The author of the Commentary on Valid Cognition also said: Therefore, real and unreal, extremely cultivate any dharma, when the power of cultivation is complete, this clear non-conceptual wisdom is the result. This is what is said. Therefore, hearing and meditating on the Perfection of Wisdom are meaningful. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: If one can see the meaning by merely hearing, then meditation becomes meaningless. If one can enter into meditation without hearing, then reliance becomes meaningless. As it is said, because one has discrimination, one should strive to hear, contemplate, and meditate. In the manner of "if it is not accomplished, nothing can be accomplished," if meditation is not accomplished, will enlightenment not be accomplished? How does it accomplish the work of meaning? Because of this thought, in order to dispel the doubt that the previous half of enlightenment does not exist, it is said, "If it is so," and so on. It should be analyzed in this way: For the time being, enlightenment arises from the previous and subsequent minds. For this, is each of the previous and subsequent minds, or many minds gathered simultaneously, or the mind arising in sequence, the cause of enlightenment? There are these three ways of examining. The first case is that it is said that it is unreasonable for each mind to achieve enlightenment. Why? Because for each of the previous and subsequent minds, the non-conceptual wisdom that can accomplish the enlightenment of the Buddha, and the accomplishment of all meanings such as omniscience, that which was previously said does not appear. Because it is impossible for one mind to have multiple objects. This is his thought. The second case is clear, that it is also unreasonable for many minds themselves to achieve enlightenment, which should be combined with the previous one. How? It refers to the minds that seem to be able to accomplish the desired meaning arising simultaneously. The desired meaning is enlightenment. In short, it is unreasonable for those many minds that seem to be able to accomplish enlightenment and arise simultaneously to achieve enlightenment. Why? Because it is impossible. It is said that at the same time
