There is no self, because it does not possess a self; afflictions are desire and so on. All the near afflictions are anger and resentment, etc., that is, abandoning those. The cause of suffering in this life and for a long time is rebirth, and the absence of that is the absence of rebirth, because there are no all afflictions, so it is liberated from clinging, that is, empty of all clinging. The cause of suffering passing from one to another is condition, and the absence of that is non-condition. Because it is liberated from those, it is called inexpressible by nature by knowing its own nature, because the own characteristic of wisdom is inexpressible. Merely because of being separated from afflictions is cessation, and the absence of that is non-cessation. Because it is truly not separated from those, therefore the meaning of the truth of cessation, that is, the nature of being separated from afflictions, that is indicated by the word "utterance", it cannot be given to other causes, because it is emptiness, so it cannot be given. Because suffering does not arise, it is peace, and the absence of that is non-peace. These are because they do not truly exist, they become without object, that is, knowing without object. Merely because of being devoid of happiness and purity is excellence, and the absence of that is non-excellence. Because it is separated from those, it is called completely pure by transcending the two extremes, because there is no extreme of annihilation and permanence, so it is immaculate. Nirvana is definitely emerging, and the absence of that is no definite emerging. Because there are none of those, it is called that all diseases do not arise, because the views of external and internal heretical sects are destroyed, that is, there is no place to stay. By the meaning of going to the city of liberation, it is the path, and the absence of that is not the path. Because it is separated from those, the bad destinies are cut off. Because it has become the antidote to all afflictions, it is reason, and the absence of that is non-reason, because it is not mixed with those. The fruit is Buddhahood itself, and to realize it is to realize it. So, what is the means of its meaning?

It is non-conceptual, without any manifest attachment to anything. Because it shows the meaning of the mind not being inverted, it is established, and without it, it is not established. By the very nature of being liberated from these, all phenomena such as form are not related to the cause of being named by characteristics such as blue, and are the state of the nature of phenomena that is not mixed, so it is said. Because it goes to the permanent place without manifest attachment, it is definitely liberating, and without it, it is not definitely liberating, because of the very nature of their absence, it is emptiness, therefore, the nature of what is to be said and what is said, the knowledge does not arise in the two, knowable and sound, is called true, if it is said that what is to be said and what is said are all absent, then they are not the object of knowledge, that is, the place of the nature of the dharma realm, so it is said. This is the sixteen aspects of the four truths such as suffering, among those previously mentioned, what are the two aspects of each truth, and what is the subsequent knowledge, is said to be the conventional truth, which should be viewed as two and two knowledges. Among them, what is the dharma that does not focus on permanence and impermanence, and suffering and non-suffering, what is the knowledge of them, is the forbearance of knowing the dharma of suffering and the knowledge of the dharma of suffering. Likewise, what is the subsequent knowledge of those who do not focus on self and non-self, and emptiness and non-emptiness, they are the subsequent forbearance of the dharma and the subsequent knowledge of the dharma. Likewise, each of the arising etc. is also combined with four and four knowledges, so it is sixteen knowledges. Others say that these knowledges should also be understood as the aspects of permanence and impermanence etc., by the force of arising in the realm of the four truths, which are the aspects of permanence and impermanence etc. According to the Hearer and other schools, what is the dharma of impermanence and suffering, and what is the knowledge of them, is the forbearance of knowing the dharma of suffering and the knowledge of the dharma of suffering, what is the subsequent knowledge of emptiness and selflessness
