For the sake of increasing, one dedicates with twelve kinds of dedications. Among them, the dedication intention that focuses on the non-object is what is mentioned as 'in order' and so on. The unsurpassed Bodhi is the attainment of Buddhahood itself. The aggregates of morality and so on refer to the undefiled morality and samadhi, and so on. The basis possessed by the mind with which one dedicates, along with its self and so on, is the aggregate of afflictions of the conceptualization of self and others. The merit of the Buddhas of the three times refers to the merit of the Buddhas who have arisen, will arise, and are arising now. Giving and so on, and signs, refer to the cause of attaining Buddhahood, such as what should be given. All paths refer to the three vehicles. The realms of desire and so on refer to the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. The paths of action of the ten virtues and so on refer to refraining from killing and so on. Stream-enterer and so on refer to stream-enterer and once-returner and so on. 'Those who abide in unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment' refers to what is said as the complete dedication of Bodhisattvas, which is special and so on. The intention here is that, as before, one should believe and generate the mind of enlightenment and so on, and with the intention of unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, non-objectification, and so on, one should dedicate that root of virtue so that sentient beings may attain perfect and complete enlightenment in the order of the three vehicles. The verses and explanations of rejoicing in the path of cultivation are easy to understand. The cause of being deprived of Dharma refers to the causes of not obtaining listening to the Dharma and so on. Since it is a time of extreme purity, purity in general is, 'Whatever is conventional truth, that is considered the ultimate truth.' As it is said, 'having obtained it in that way,' and so on, the meaning of the verses of 'pure fruit' and so on refers to noble beings and so on, and noble beings refer to hearers and so on. What is the fruit of the conduct of the ascetic of that, namely

Entering the stream, and so on. All aspects that are incompatible with it are purified by being separated from it, that is, they are without defilement. What is that? It is the purification of form and so on, because there is no grasping, and so on, therefore the emptiness of form and so on. The results, and so on, have already been explained. Why? Because the result, that is, the purification of entering the stream, and so on, as before, and the manifest clinging to form, and so on, as self, that is, clinging to them as truly existent, are separated by being completely separated from them, so thusness and form are one. For this very reason, "for what reason" and so on are mentioned, for what reason is enlightenment attained, and the purity of form and so on are non-different and indivisible. Even if the meaning is the same, the reason for expressing it as different words from the perspective of difference is that "self" and "general" and so on are mentioned, because the characteristics of self and general are not different, so "for what reason" and so on refer to how the self and general of result and form and so on appear. Alternatively, it is only because non-dual wisdom becomes one in a single moment, and because it gradually abides in the continuum from higher to higher, it is self and general. Their characteristics, in terms of ultimate truth, are the nature of illusion, and similarly, it is a nature that is not different. Thus, because of being separated from the difference of the characteristics of self and general, the purification of them in order is non-different and indivisible. Alternatively, here, these are true, because there is no difference in the characteristics of various kinds, so they are non-different; because there is no division of the characteristics of complete distinction, so it is indivisible. For what reason is it so? Because it is pure, it is said that the purity of form and so on is the purity of result. "Those two" and so on have been explained. The distinction of purity is that after generally stating purity, "and so on" is mentioned. The Abhisamayalankara, a treatise on the essential instructions of the Perfection of Wisdom.
