In brief, the meaning is oneself and others, and so on. The so-called focusing on the meaning of oneself, others, and both, focusing on the meaning of oneself is because oneself is suitable as a vessel; focusing on the meaning of others is because the beings to be tamed are suitable as vessels; focusing on the meaning of oneself and others is because oneself and others are suitable as vessels. The so-called according to one's liking is because it does not deviate from selflessness. What is seen is that the Bhagavan has realized the path of enlightenment. Any virtuous Dharma, its nature is non-attachment, etc., therefore it is the generation of Bodhicitta, etc. The so-called even if it is its basis, that is, even if it is its foundation. First is the beginning. The nature of not manifesting is to focus on the generation of Bodhicitta, etc., for oneself, others, and both, because here it is the aspect of not clinging to manifestation. From where does it come? It is said that it comes from the power of the path of cultivation, from the stage of familiarization, because at the time of learning without reaching the ultimate, manifestation does not exist for any being, this is what is thought. Focusing on one's own meaning has the following nine types, namely small of small, small of medium, small of large, medium of small, medium of medium, medium of large, large of small, large of medium, large of large. Similarly, focusing on the meaning of others and focusing on the meaning of both each has nine types, therefore there are twenty-seven kinds of aspirations. The past teachers said that the nature of small and medium, etc., is a superior antidote, therefore one should also understand through meaning the twenty-seven types that are incompatible with this, such as large of large, etc. The sutra says that the Bhagavan, all Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, are praised, revered, and extolled by all Buddhas, and abide in the one and only means. Therefore, the teacher of the Bodhisattva's special aspiration is to say the Bodhisattva who cultivates this path, etc., the special dedication is selflessness.

Therefore, one should have special devotion, because it is more excellent than the Shravakas, etc., for the benefit of all sentient beings. Moreover, its best function is to accomplish the enlightenment of oneself and others. The so-called "formless aspect," etc., refers to the mental activity that engages in generating the mind of enlightenment for oneself, others, and both, which is said to be the mental activity of special devotion. The objects of the mental activities of devotion and dedication, since they are the mind of enlightenment, etc., which are present before and after, there is no difference in the objects. Having this intention, the aforementioned "non-objectification," etc., is mentioned. If asked, what is the difference of devotion that was mentioned before, which is non-objectification? It is non-objectification, that is, it has the aspect of non-objectification. This is also called the mental activity of complete dedication that is without objectification. Since there is no inverted view of self-grasping, etc., it is non-inverted, it is the nature of non-inversion. That is its meaning. Since there is no grasper, etc., it is secluded. The so-called "Tathagata," etc., is to show the meaning of Buddha, etc. Since it possesses non-discouragement, etc., it is endowed with skillful means. Since it does not fixate on giving, etc., it is signless. Since it is pleasing to the Buddhas, it is permitted by the Buddhas. Since there is no attachment to the desire realm, etc., it does not belong to the three realms, and it has been explained as possessing skillful means, etc. The verse "Small, medium, and large dedications, the other three" has already been explained. Since it is the nature of generating the most excellent merit from all, it is the nature of the great source of merit. The so-called "great merit," etc., has already been explained. Thus, in the way of naming, the twelve mental activities of complete dedication with names such as non-objectification, etc., by focusing on non-objectification, for sentient beings to be tamed by the three vehicles, in order to closely show those paths, whatever possesses the function of the nature of the cause, together with those who possess the function of the nature of the cause, in order to make the benefit of all sentient beings inexhaustible, until enlightenment.
