That has been explained. To contemplate on reality itself is to think of all phenomena as emptiness. To completely know that it does not exist is to be without an object of focus. To possess true wisdom is to be conscious itself. Because it does not exist, it is indeed without consciousness. If there is no attachment or non-attachment to the dharma of things, then how could it exist? One should understand it that way. What is called patience, which is meaningful, refers to what is said like "if it is so" and so on. If it is so, for those who possess the object and aspect of patience, there is no lower realm, as it is said in the Abhidharma: "One who has attained patience does not go to the lower realms." This means that a Bodhisattva who has attained patience, like ordinary people, does not have the three lower realms such as hell. Because of patience towards the great dharma. What is called "because of patience towards the great dharma" refers to patience towards the absence of form, etc., which belongs to pleasing patience, and has three aspects. The object and aspect of the root of virtue that belongs to the supreme of dharma has three, which refers to what is said like Samadhi and so on. Isn't it the case that in all places, including the object of focus and so on, the subject of dharma should also be shown? If it is said that it is unreasonable to meditate only by being firm in dharma, then it refers to what is said like "the object of focus is impermanent" and so on, because there is dharma and the subject of dharma in "except," so the meaning of others is shown by the distinction of words. If it is said that the object of focus is expressed in words of specially distinguished dharma and subject of dharma, then the object of focus mentioned here is only an approximate representation, so the meaning is this: the expression of object of focus and aspect is also expressed in specially distinguished words, like "stopping the attachment of aspect" and so on, just like universally guiding the subject of dharma of aspect and object of focus, it is definitely explained in all places, which is consistent with showing the difference of expression. Even so, is it possible to understand the subject of dharma by speaking of dharma there? If you ask this, then it refers to what is said like "other differences" and so on, other differences refer to different kinds. Abandoning and not abandoning them refers to these dharmas other than turning back and not turning back.

According to reason, there is actually no difference between dharma and the possessor of dharma. If there were indeed a difference between dharma and the possessor of dharma, then things in general would not exist either, because they are independent of each other. Therefore, just like the tree itself, here too, wherever the object and aspect belonging to the Four Noble Truths are not mentioned, through an irreversible way, they are also considered to belong to the Four Noble Truths. If neither dharma nor the possessor of dharma exists, then it is impossible for them to arise, so this refutation is completely untenable. In reality, relying on the Four Noble Truths is merely a way of speaking. Alternatively, for the sake of rhyme, even if different words are used to avoid conflicts in the composition of verses, they are always derived from the possessor of dharma (truth). For example, the distinction between the object and aspect of dharma is mentioned through words such as "manifestation of aspect," but even so, the truths such as suffering are the possessor of dharma, and only the object and aspect belonging to them are dharma. It should be understood that the commentators explain it this way. Why? Because the "self" and so on, which prevent the manifestation and so on, and the things that are truly free from arising and ceasing, whether sequentially or simultaneously, cannot achieve meaningful actions. Examining its own nature through valid means is like a rabbit's horn, empty of real meaning. Because manifestation and so on do not exist in either the conventional or the ultimate, the "self" and so on cannot be the basis, and in reality, there is only reliance on the truth. This refers to existence in the conventional truth. The same should be understood for the following. That is, wherever there is only reliance on dharma, it should be understood that only the Four Noble Truths are the possessor of dharma, according to the reasons mentioned earlier. The four kinds of conceptualization are mentioned as "basis" and so on. There are two kinds of grasping conceptualization. From where do they arise? They arise from the "basis," that is, from the action of transmitting from one existence to another, that is, from desire and so on.
