That is to say, all-knowingness is form and so on, that is, form and feeling and so on. One should meditate on its Dharma nature, relying on meditations such as impermanence and emptiness. The result is the one who has abandoned ignorance of self, and the emptiness of self-grasping is the result. This shows that by the power of knowing all aspects such as the impermanence of form and so on, one is freed from grasping at self. The definite arising of all vehicles is the fruit of the path of the Hearers and so on. That is the Suchness itself, because its object is without an object. Relying on what does not directly realize it is its cause. The result is that sentient beings who have not been gathered are gathered, that is, those who have not attained the result of the path of the Hearers and so on, and actions such as giving and supreme giving are the result. This shows that by focusing on all paths without an object, that is, by knowing the aspect of the path, the Bodhisattva does not turn away from hearing and so on until Samsara is exhausted. That which is called abiding in the unbornness of all Dharmas is the reason for the unbornness of form and so on in the ultimate sense. Reaching the limit of the space element is limitlessness. The uninterrupted continuation of the benefit of sentient beings is that in the state of a Bodhisattva, the benefit of sentient beings is habitual from beginningless time, so whoever acts without autonomy, and whoever enters into everything until Samsara is exhausted, and realizes the limit of reality, is made manifest by selflessness. The connection of their imprints is the transmission from one concept to another. That which is abandoned is abandonment. That which is the result is what is called that. This is based on the aspect of the unbornness of all Dharmas, and all-knowingness has abandoned all conceptualizations, and the benefit of sentient beings is also explained like a victory banner erected by birds flying in the sky. Therefore, "thus" and so on have been stated. By those such as "foolish people," the scriptures become unnecessary.

Regarding conceptualization, this is to explain the limbs of entering the sacred path, and so on. Like the undefeated perfect Buddha, whoever possesses victory is the undefeated victor. What is the meaning of that? If one wonders what the need is, it is to explain the inseparability of the speaker and the spoken, the connection, the need for what is to be said, and the need for the trainees to easily understand, which are inseparable from one's own treatises. This refers to mentioning things like generating doubt about the meaning. The main point of the sutra is that in order to explain the meaning of the sutras such as the Prajnaparamita, there are eight types of Abhisamayalankara. To approximately symbolize that meaning, it is said to be "possessed of the nature of ten practices of Dharma." This means establishing the ten perfections such as Bodhicitta and pure giving on mindfulness. Having accurately remembered through hearing and thinking, here the mother is shown. Because it shows according to the thoughts of sentient beings, knowing all aspects of what is taught is the path. Since it is easy to go to Bodhi, omniscient knowledge is the path of the three. That path is not of others, that is, it is not experienced or realized by others than Bodhisattvas. It will be realized by those with intelligence. Bodhisattvas directly realize Buddhahood. Thus, in the secret sutra of the Tathagata, it is said that "this body and conduct are limitless and endless," and so on. Although conceptualization is the affliction of Bodhisattvas, due to the power of the aspiration to directly realize enlightenment, in order to tame the trainees, it shows different bodies and behaviors as they appear to each individual, so there is no fault. This is what the need to say is. Easy to understand means easy to realize. It refers to the fact that trainees can easily understand the eight Abhisamayalankaras, which is the second need for composing the commentary. Therefore, only through these needs for composing the treatise on characteristics, all the accomplishments of the meaning that arise will be completely fulfilled.
