Because of what depends on each other, it is reasonable to exist. Below that, that formless consciousness should not be attached to objects. Because it is formless and immeasurable, and because it is unreasonable, it is not something else. Because it is rejected in this way, if there is nothing to be taken, there is nothing to be taken, and one should definitely think like this. Below that, these are only of the nature of consciousness. After thinking equally like this, no matter where they are placed, they do not abide in that nature. Because it is said like this, the nature of what is to be taken is also only of the nature of mind, so it is not reasonable for the mind to observe the form in front of it. That is also the nature of the form to be taken, and the nature of consciousness is also rejected and abandoned. There is no other experience outside of consciousness, and there is no one who experiences it. Because it is free from what can be taken and what is to be taken, it is the appearance of self-nature. Because it is said like this, it is only non-dual wisdom. The emptiness of what is to be taken, etc., is definitely distinguished, and only the nature of consciousness is separated from the attachment to self, etc., or the activity of true wisdom is empty and true. In that true nature, the nature of existence, that is, the nature of non-duality, is self-aware and exists and abides. After deciding like this, below that, what arises from that and what depends on it, it is not born in its own nature, and what is not born in its own nature, what is said to be born in it. According to this tenet, that is also, the nature of consciousness is also due to dependent origination, as said before, because it is born from the power of the collection of mind and mental factors, it is like an illusion and has no self-nature. However, the nature of self-awareness cannot be denied, but it is not reasonable in the nature of cause and effect, so it is empty and true in itself. Thus, the nature of suchness is one, and it is separated from the nature of what is observed as extremely existent and non-existent, etc. The so-called existent and non-existent, and the nature of the conceptual thoughts of both and neither, are absent and abandoned, and one should practice equally like this. Why is it not real and not unreal? What is extreme practice? Because the power of practice is complete, it is the result of clear, non-conceptual wisdom.

After saying "Sabu," it means that through the power of meditation, one achieves the ultimate stage of meditation. Just as some people have cognition of gems and silver, just as ordinary people have cognition of images in gems, silver, and mirrors, etc., emptiness appears, neither single nor multiple, etc. Similarly, abandoning all signs of delusion means being free from all that is grasped, etc. The mind that appears as the nature of illusion is because it does not conform to the objects of cause and effect. Non-discrimination means that because it is free from discriminatory thoughts such as desire, it is free from ignorance. What each individual should know for themselves is to know for themselves without deception. Just as some people do, if it truly arises, it will be abandoned, which should be connected with the following text. Now, from the opposite perspective, surpassing with the meaning not mentioned in the verses, that is, saying "it is not like that," etc. The so-called "it is not like that" means that because self-nature is empty, it does not admit that afflictions, etc., will disappear. Even if others practice the antidote path, it will not have any effect on the Dharma, and no difference in the abandonment of afflictions, etc., will arise. If asked what it is like, it is like space. Just as space cannot increase or decrease any difference in its nature simply because it has no substance, because it is constant, so in the ultimate sense, self-nature exists in that way. Similarly, this is a well-known metaphor among internal and external non-Buddhists, so it is said. Among them, "space is not obscured" means that from the perspective of the internal non-Buddhist doctrine, at any time, in any situation, space is like a rabbit's horn, merely nominally established, and is the entity recognized and assumed by those people. This is to say, just as one clings to the nature of something that has no substance. The view of external non-Buddhists is that it is merely the nature of something without substance and qualities, etc., while according to the view of internal non-Buddhists, it is also the nature without general and specific characteristics such as form, without difference, it is space.
