Explaining the benefit for sentient beings who delight in vastness, through the door of eight meanings. Explaining the benefit for sentient beings who delight in vastness, through the door of eight meanings. Summary of the Meaning: In Sanskrit: Abhisamayalankara-prajnaparamitopadesha-shastra-vritti-dura-ava-bodha-loka-nama-tika. In Tibetan: A commentary on the explanation of the treatise on the instructions of the Prajnaparamita, the Ornament of Clear Realization, called "The Light That Is Difficult to Understand." I prostrate to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! I prostrate to the noble Manjushri Kumara! The glorious Bodhi is utterly pure, I bow to the Invincible One who composed the verses. The explanation before the glorious face of Simhabhadra, The collection of words and meanings difficult to understand, I shall explain. Why did the Victorious One say that all those without leisure Will abandon it with faith? Therefore, in this true composition, May the noble beings be tolerant. Most authors of all treatises, in order to bring them to ultimate completion, and in order to make the entry into listening and so forth without obstacles, pay homage to their own deity of faith. Therefore, first paying homage to the deity of the Victorious One is to mention "Prajnaparamita" and so forth. Wisdom is knowing by the nature of listening and so forth. Reaching the other shore is reaching the ultimate peak, that is, non-dual wisdom, and the path and treatises of its meaning. With the distinction of real and imputed, Prajnaparamita has three aspects. Paying homage to this is to prostrate with body and so forth respectfully. For what purpose? It is an ornament, because it is the cause of manifest excellence and definite goodness, so the eight clear realizations are the ornament of that place. Its word summary is the combination of verses that perfect the meaning of its essence, and the extensive explanations of the Hundred Thousand Verses and so forth are differentiated, that is, shown approximately like rain falling. How is it? Because explaining the meaning of the Hundred Thousand Verses and so forth is adorned, so it becomes the ornament of all the Sutra Pitakas and so forth. Here

The transformation is thought, because it shows that. The meaning of "outward" is that, in that way, I understood the intention of the noble Maitreya. Are there other better ways to explain it? Because there are, it is said, "attachment to beings," and so on. The noble one, like not having attachment to afflictions, always has attachment to the benefit of sentient beings, that is always attachment. This meaning is: Attachment to beings, always attached. It is said like that, attachment to beings, that is attachment to beings, that is, the Bodhisattvas. Like them, always attached, that is it. Therefore, he is the protector, because he guides with the path he has seen himself, thereby protecting sentient beings. Explanation is to show special meaning. Creation is separate combination. By whom is it created? By the great treatise, because it gathers all the meanings of the Prajnaparamita Sutras, so it is the great treatise, that is, the Ornament for Clear Realization. Was it created through speculation or through oral transmission? No, it is because: Having heard from the Maitreya, the Protector. It is said like that, because it is the most excellent of gods and humans, and because it is the lord of the world, so it is unconquerable by Ishvara and others, therefore it is called Maitreya, meaning that after hearing it himself, he thought and meditated well, thereby revealing it. Although this is the attainment of Samadhi, how to create with more devout verses, because it was personally heard from the author, like the compilers, therefore here it has become a person of authority. And, here, hearing many others, and gathering what is known like memory, then how is it possible to have the right to explain here? Let alone those who claim to be clever, that's what they think. Without external knowable objects, relying on inner knowledge, and abiding in the tenets of the Mind-Only school, that is, saying the root of benefiting beings, etc., because there is a strong desire for beings, it must be a good reason.
