ro. It is to be understood that the most decisive component of this path of seeing is what is said to be "all-knowingness." If so, then there also the joyful grounds and so forth are mentioned, because this is showing the path of seeing of the Bodhisattvas, why should it be said again? It should be said that the all-knowingness of the Tathagatas is because it depends on the realization of all causes and effects, so in order to avoid the doubt that the sons of the Victorious Ones will not become the path proclaimed from it, only the cause is enumerated from it, and the nature of the path of seeing and so forth of the sons of the Victorious Ones, the knowledge of the path, is established separately. Therefore, because it is following the exposition of the noble Vimuktisena, the venerable Bhadanta has connected the recently explained forbearance and so forth as aspects of the path of seeing. Others say that because the entire text and meaning of the path of seeing are not connected with the aspects, "some say" and so forth are mentioned. The so-called "some say" is also explained differently by some teachers, that is, the meaning of the verses such as "truth and forbearance of truth" is the nature of the sixteen moments. The meaning of the aspect is shown by the text that strives to approximate the expression. Therefore, the verses such as "suchness and Buddha" do not speak of the meaning of the aspect, the so-called suchness and Buddha that do not rely on form, do not abide in the order of the dependent and the depended, are the aspects of the forbearance of the knowledge of Dharma of suffering and so forth, without speaking of the nature of the aspect itself. Whatever path of seeing is spoken of by the Hearers and so forth, the sixteen moments in it are the forbearance of the knowledge of Dharma of suffering and so forth. It is only an approximate expression and connection, so here also do not connect by saying that only the aspects of the path of seeing of the Bodhisattva are spoken of. This is the intention here. What will happen with that? All the distinctions that have been spoken and not spoken are seeing

It serves as a guide to lead to the path of enlightenment. That is, it should be viewed in conjunction with verses such as "Suchness and the Buddhas." Regarding the faults stated by the virtuous teacher, it refers to saying "by those," etc., meaning that those teachers did not explain the stages of meditation, etc. This is the order of gradual practice and learning as stated in the Abhisamayalankara. The word "etc." refers to the completion of meditation, and from that, Buddhahood itself can be accomplished, but this (treatise) does not show even a little of the order of realization, that is, it does not explain the ultimate of the path of generating bodhicitta, etc., which was previously mentioned, that is, the order of accomplishing Buddhahood itself. Since there is no order of connection at all times, it will be like searching for hundreds of thousands (of sutras). This is his thought. It also says "other faults," etc., that is, the meaning of what is said, such as "object and," etc., is that the difference between the object and aspects of warmth, etc., is not shown to be more superior than any of the Hearers, because this aspect is common. In this way, this aspect is not good, I think so. The root of afflictions such as desire is attachment to reality, and what is contrary to it is familiarizing oneself with selflessness, and attachment to reality such as the aggregates of suffering, because these are mutually contradictory, wouldn't it lead to the inability to accomplish familiarization with selflessness? If so, then based on its cause, how can the sixteen aspects of the aggregates of suffering, etc., be cultivated here to generate the forbearance of knowledge of suffering, etc.? It is not like that, because for what reason? Because verses such as "Suchness and the Buddhas" have shown that the sixteen aspects of suffering, etc., are the nature of dependent origination, therefore, if one learns the non-existence of self-nature as it is said, then the nature of reality will naturally arise, therefore, in the ultimate truth, the action of things is unreasonable, and this should be fully understood.
