And words like "etc." should be connected. That is, according to the situation, in some places the word "is" refers to the origin. From the perspective of cause, the origin is the cause of the aggregate of suffering. In some places, the word "is" refers to suffering, from the perspective of effect, it refers to the perspective of becoming the fruit of suffering, because suffering is the fruit of origin. In some places, the word "is" refers to cessation, from the perspective of self-nature, truly speaking, all dharmas are the self-nature of cessation. In some places, the word "is" refers to the path, from the perspective of dharma-nature, it refers to the non-apprehension of the three dharmas of omniscience. As before, other ways also refer to non-attachment, etc. Mixing refers to extensive practice. Most sects say that because your vehicle does not appear in our three baskets, your vehicle is not spoken by the Buddha. In order to eliminate this slander, "therefore" etc. are mentioned. Because this is just another system, the reason for saying "because" is that the stage of the Mahayana surpasses other vehicles in five special ways. Therefore, from the perspective of the Mahayana, this is just another system. Therefore, by seeing this, one should not slander the Mahayana anywhere, nor should one say that it is not the Buddha's teaching. One should not refute that because your vehicle does not appear in our three baskets and is not spoken in Sanskrit, it is necessarily not spoken by the Buddha. If one does not understand other languages, one is not omniscient, and if only you are the beings to be tamed, then necessarily all are not the beings to be tamed. Neither of us wants that, so this is not possible in any way. Such arguments, it should be seen that in the *Ornament of the Sutras* and other sutras, for those meat-eating ghosts who are attached to the language of meat-eating ghosts and do not understand the correct view, teaching is given in an equal way, thereby extensively refuting them. This is its intention. Also, the purpose here

Therefore, it should not be said that other vehicles contradict other vehicles, just like the arguments of permanence and impermanence. Because it will be explained below that saying that other dharmas also exist, etc., is contrary to that Bodhi. Otherwise, how can the Buddhists of the Vaibhashika, Sautrantika, Yogachara, and Madhyamaka schools be transformed into a more superior order from top to top? Or, when explaining the superiority of the Mahayana, isn't it explained that other vehicles are not superior? Why wouldn't this become a fault of engaging in the karma of impoverishing others? The answer to the former is that's why it is said "therefore" etc. The so-called "this is only another sect" means that one should firmly understand the superior and non-superior vehicles as they are. Because if that is the case, then in any place one should not say relying on other vehicles to refute, one should not say the fault of engaging in the karma of impoverishing others, because those who abide in their respective vehicles all hope that our vehicle can make other vehicles decline, therefore declining from their own vehicle, and even more believing in other vehicles, is not such a thought. Therefore, refuting "other dharmas also exist" etc., the previously mentioned fault is not a fault, because this is exactly what is desired. Regarding this explanation, it should be seen that those who abide in their own vehicle are established in the karma of abandoning their own vehicle and becoming impoverished. The so-called "object of focus" etc., refers to the arising and destruction of form etc., which are establishment and refutation. The so-called "abiding" refers to abiding and being named by relying on this, therefore it is abiding, that is, the sound is without remainder. The so-called "separation" refers to not abiding, that is, not existing, therefore it is abiding separation. The so-called "imputation" refers to the names of Buddhas etc., that and that are all unspeakable, therefore it is called imputation and unspeakable. In explaining the objects of focus and aspects of the three roots of virtue belonging to the heat position, the "small object of focus" etc. is mentioned, among which "the small object of focus of the heat position" etc. is
