The causes and results of etc. do not exist. The word "etc." includes the distinctions of knowledge such as the beginning, and all aspects such as one side are faults such as obscuration, and having and not having, etc. Therefore, it is the nature of the suchness of the actual object. Saying "non-existent" means that it is non-existent because it does not have it. Like a lotus in the sky, saying "cessation and arising do not exist" means that because the object itself does not exist, those afflictions etc. that have not arisen, with the characteristic of truly arising, the wisdom that cuts off arising, because there is no arising, it is said to know that there is no arising. That is what is said in such order, etc. The impurities etc. mentioned earlier are knowing exhaustion and non-arising, which is the nature of the Dharmadhatu. As before, knowing exhaustion and separation from one and many, etc., when one knows to be born as a human, then all those things such as all dharmas are realized without error. In reality, it is knowing that there is no birth. Its characteristic is that the nature of the essence Dharmakaya etc. is not reasonable because it is another body other than wisdom. As it is, etc., it is because it is in accordance with reality by measure. Great Bodhi is pervasive wisdom. Entering into the words of unreasonable Bodhi of internal heretics etc. is what is said by "for what reason" etc., because the rule of the Mahayana is such Bodhi, therefore, internal heretics etc. with the thought of destroying objects, for those who have arisen with afflictions etc. that have objects, thinking of cessation, on exhaustion and cessation, the knowledge of exhaustion and cessation, that is, the discrimination is knowing exhaustion. With the thought of objects not arising, for those who have arisen with afflictions etc. that have objects, thinking of no arising, because there is no arising, it is the cessation that hinders arising, on non-arising, the knowledge of thinking that there is no arising, because there is no arising, the discrimination that afflictions will not arise, is called the knowledge of non-arising, if one establishes one's own rules in detail.

It is not sufficient to know only the cessation and non-arising of those (afflictions, etc.), because that itself is not true, so there are no afflictions, etc. Only cessation and non-arising themselves, therefore, the knowledge of the inner heretics is not sufficient. For these, the intermediate verses were spoken, that is, proving one's own thesis with characteristics such as "separated from one and many," just as looking at the permanent thesis with the impermanent thesis, or like considering the water of a mirage as real water, their thesis is not established. The noble Maitreya, observing with the wisdom of each self-awareness, in order to eliminate their attachment to existence and non-existence in beginningless existence, grasped the reason with compassion, that is, "by the path of seeing," etc. This is saying that the inner heretics think that their afflictions have been exhausted and will not arise again, and the cessation and non-arising they know is actually the suchness nature of afflictions, etc. Therefore, there is no cessation and non-arising, that is the nature of non-cessation, which is irreversible, because of attachment to things, so one does not fully understand one's own nature. Know that this is caused by this. If this is the case, what fault will there be? That is, "distinction," etc. The kind of distinction is the nature of distinction. What is exhausted? It is cessation. Or, the nature of distinction, the state of non-birth, what kind of form will be obtained? That is to say, what will the unborn dharma produce? Nothing will be produced. If afflictions cease, then the distinctions arising from them will also cease, which is also established by the measure just mentioned, the nature of afflictions, etc., guided by the nature of suchness, and the nature of knowing cessation and non-arising, is because of attachment to things, not understanding one's own nature, so the inner heretics do not understand. Therefore, because one does not understand the nature of afflictions, how can one use the path of seeing to completely stop afflictions, etc.? If it ceases, then how will the distinctions arising from it, one after another in succession, cease? If the cause exists,
