Wood. Imperishable, and not afflicted by attachment, etc., and not purified by the absence of it. The word "etc." is not reasonable for decline and increase. The cause of suffering is the cause, and the absence of it is not the cause. They are like space because they are of the nature of accumulation. The cause of suffering in this life is accumulation, and the absence of it is not accumulation, because it does not possess it. Afflictions are attachment, etc. All near afflictions are anger and resentment, etc., which have been abandoned. The cause of suffering in this life and for a long time is rebirth, and the absence of it is the absence of rebirth. Because there is no pervasive affliction, it is liberated from grasping, empty of all bonds. The cause of suffering passing from one to another is condition, and the absence of it is not condition. Because it is liberated from them, it is called self-nature unspeakable by knowing self-nature, because the self-nature of wisdom is unspeakable. Because of the nature of being free from affliction, it is cessation, and the absence of it is not cessation. Because of what is true, because it is not separated from them, the meaning of the truth of cessation, what is the characteristic of being free from affliction, is shown by the words of speech, and cannot be given to other causes, because it is empty and cannot be given. Because of the nature of not arising suffering, it is peaceful, and the absence of it is not peaceful. These are true, so they are without object, because they are known without object. Because of being separated from happiness and purity, it is excellent, and the absence of it is not excellent. Because of being separated from them, it is called extremely pure because it transcends the two extremes, because there is no extreme of annihilation and permanence, it is without defilement. Nirvana is definitely liberation, and the absence of it is not definitely liberation. Because there is no such thing, it is called the non-arising of all diseases, because the views of internal and external paths are destroyed and there is no place. City of liberation.

Because it is for the purpose of going to the city, it is the path, and without it, it is not the path. Because it is separated from those, it cuts off bad destinies. Because it becomes the antidote to all afflictions, it is reason, and without it, it is not reason, because it is not mixed with those. The fruit is enlightenment itself, and manifesting it is manifestation. What is the method for that? It is non-discrimination, without manifest attachment to everything. Because it shows the mind is not inverted, it is practice, and without it, it is not practice. Just by being liberated from those, all phenomena such as form are unrelated to and unmixed with the cause of being named by characteristics such as blue, it is the state of the nature of phenomena, up to here. Because it goes to the constant place without manifest attachment, it is definitely liberation, and without it, it is not definitely liberation, because without those, it is emptiness, because there is no arising of the nature of the speaker and the spoken, and no arising of knowledge of the knowable and sound, so truly speaking, because there is no speaker and spoken, it is not the object of their knowledge, it is the state of the realm of phenomena itself, up to here. This refers to what the two kinds of dharmas are for each of the four truths of suffering, etc., among the sixteen aspects of the four truths of suffering, etc., mentioned earlier, and what the subsequent knowledge is, which is called conventional truth, and should be regarded as two kinds of knowledge. Among them, for the imperceptible dharmas such as permanence and impermanence, suffering and non-suffering, the knowledge of them is the forbearance of the knowledge of dharma of suffering and the knowledge of dharma of suffering. Similarly, the subsequent knowledge of the imperceptible self and non-self, emptiness and non-emptiness, is the forbearance of the knowledge of dharma of following and the knowledge of dharma of following. Similarly, for each of the arising, etc., it is also combined with four kinds of knowledge, so there are sixteen kinds of knowledge. Others say that these knowledges are also permanence and impermanence, etc.
