Therefore, existence is non-substantial. These are known through the object itself. Or, since reality itself is inverted, phenomena such as form are truly existent in the ultimate sense, but in reality they are non-existent, so for their impermanence etc., one clings to the absence of substance, it should be understood. In either case, those with objects such as Śrāvakas are necessarily attached to certain things, so even if the Prajñāpāramitā exists, it will decline etc., it should be thought. From the words "rules" etc., and from the answers of the words "together with its name" etc., the explanation of the verses is easy to understand. "Recognizing that things have characteristics" means distinguishing phenomena such as form etc., which have coarse characteristics of delusion of clinging to things, and have similar parts, passing from one to another. Or, since it arises from a collection, one distinguishes phenomena such as form etc., which have the cause of the characteristics of delusion of clinging to things. "For those who do not understand the nature of things" means not understanding the inverted nature of phenomena such as form etc. Its knowledge of equality is the knowledge of the unborn of phenomena such as form etc. Through the explanation of "non-means" etc., it is explained that "non-means is far away". Through the explanation of "Bodhisattva from a long time" etc., it is explained that "that is skillful in means". The antidote to Śrāvakas etc., the uncommon qualities of Bodhisattvas, just like this, Śrāvakas etc., just like this saying, just like this, Śrāvakas etc. from the order described below, make the Prajñāpāramitā distant, is established, and because it cannot be obtained, it is an inverted habit, so those antidotes are what Bodhisattvas should abandon, so it is an uncommon quality, the noble Maitreya thus declared it to be an uncommon quality. The meaning of the verses "form etc." is "form etc."

The matters mentioned are: the nature of both the contaminated of ordinary beings and the uncontaminated of noble ones, that is, the ordinary beings who have abandoned one side of afflictions, are the sangha who are free from desire. All phenomena of the three times, such as form, etc., for those whose nature of those phenomena has not become real, but by clinging to reality as an object, it appears to cling to being truly existent, thereby knowing what form, etc., are. Therefore, one should view the aggregates themselves, such as form, etc., as emptiness, that is, the self and what belongs to me, etc., which are imputed by others. Giving, etc., that is, giving and discipline, etc., the aspects of enlightenment, and the four dhyanas, etc. For these, clinging to the idea of practice, thinking of no-self, this is the antidote to overcome the enemies of the Hearers, etc., it is the path. Why? Because due to the arising of perversion, for ordinary beings who have already manifested clinging to self, etc., this is precisely the reason for entering the opposite state. Thus, the antidote of the Hearers, etc., just mentioned, is precisely the unfavorable aspect of the Bodhisattvas. Why? Because it is said that due to the arising of perversion, it is what should be abandoned. Or, since form, etc., are not truly existent in themselves, therefore, viewing emptiness, etc., is also what should be abandoned by the Bodhisattvas. It should be said like this. Bodhisattvas, on the other hand, etc., is easy to understand. By preventing seeing, etc. It means that the sutras have forbidden the nature of what should be realized by eye consciousness, etc. Therefore, the nature is difficult to realize, because it is not an object that can be realized by worldly measure, so knowing that all phenomena are unborn, attachment to all things that should be abandoned and accepted is the unfavorable aspect of the Bodhisattvas, so it should be abandoned. That is what is thought. Thus, by unfavorable aspects, etc., the application is explained, and by all phenomena such as form, etc., the meaning of the verses is shown.
