Because it is desired to prevent, it is unreasonable to say that the lineages are different. In this way, it is unreasonable to say that only Bodhisattvas are not lineages, and that only Bodhisattvas are lineages, because the Sravaka and other lineages are also considered lineages here. This is the thought of other debaters, like those of low intelligence who do not understand the scriptures, because of compassion for them, in order to eliminate their lack of understanding, the question was first raised, then the refutation was raised, and the intermediate verses were interspersed. In response to this, the answer to the first half of the refutation is "how" etc. The Sravaka's vehicle etc. is the path of the Sravaka and Pratyekabuddha, that is, through the order of realization, that is, the order of understanding from top to top, how, that is, how like the object, the Bodhisattva's Dharmadhatu etc. is the remaining part. Similarly, in order to realize the noble Dharma, one should contemplate etc. If so, what will happen? It will be established as a lineage, that is, only Bodhisattvas are established as the Sravaka etc. lineages. Why? Because only the Dharmadhatu is established as the cause, in reality, there should be no other cause, therefore the Sutra Pitaka says that the cause of the three vehicles' lineages is only the Bodhisattva's Dharmadhatu nature. The scriptures take the nature of the Dharmadhatu as the cause of the Bodhisattva, and in general, the three vehicles rely on the fruit. How the Sravaka and Pratyekabuddha lineages are established, similarly, in the Bodhisattva's stage, the Tathagatagarbha will also be understood. This is the general meaning. If according to the view of the three vehicles being inseparable, then admitting the two vehicles of Sravaka and Pratyekabuddha, establishing the Bodhisattva as a lineage with a rational metaphor, therefore one should not doubt that the metaphor is not established. Once again etc., is another answer.

That which is called "that," in reality, although there are no things that are the basis and the one that relies, yet because of the unique nature of the Dharma realm, in order to make the three vehicles manifest, the qualities such as being free from attachment are fully considered as the one that relies. When establishing the lineage of Bodhisattvas, establishing it as the lineage of the three vehicles, the latter half of the verse answers "the Dharma that relies" and so on. The sutra says, "All noble beings are distinguished by the unconditioned." Therefore, only the lineage should be mentioned at first, and those who are in accordance with the generation of Bodhicitta, liberation, and the determining factor, are they not prior to that? How is it said in this way? Indeed, this is the order of meaning, and this is also the order of teaching. There is no fault because the result is shown first, and then the cause is shown after that. The accomplishment as described above, that is, the generation of Bodhicitta and so on, has been previously described as the nature of non-objectification. The basis of that, called "becoming the basis of that" and so on, the meaning of the words "object" and so on that objectify them, briefly speaking, has been said as "for the time being, the first" and so on. The so-called "first application" is the first time that the good, non-good, and neutral, which are commonly taught with the Hearers and so on, are the places to be taken, abandoned, and left alone. What is it? In order, it is the conduct of a renunciate and the act of taking life, and the neutral actions of the body and so on. The conduct of a renunciate is the undefiled path, and intentionally and without error taking the life of another, and the actions of misconduct of the body without knowledge. The word "etc." is connected one by one, meaning the precepts, taking what is not given, and the actions of misconduct of speech, etc., that is, those three dharmas. After that, the so-called "those" are the ones previously mentioned. The so-called "the rest" are like rotten seeds, so the neutral should be abandoned, and whatever is the Dharma of good and non-good, that is, worldly people and so on.

The so-called "divided into two, namely four kinds," refers to dividing them one by one into the four kinds of aggregates: mundane and supramundane, defiled and undefiled. The so-called "as their number" refers to worldly people who are included in the worldly path, such as ordinary people. That which is included in the Right Noble Path is the supramundane, such as the noble ones. Because it is not the antidote to the view of self, it is worldly, that is, defiled, such as the view of self and so on. Because it is the antidote to the view of self, it is like that view, etc., that is, worldly and supramundane, defiled and undefiled, a total of four kinds. Because it arises from the joint action of causes, it is causes, etc. Because afflictions, etc., arise by themselves through thinking, they are independent of causes, etc., that is, the two kinds of conditioned and unconditioned phenomena. Mentioning the noble ones is because they arise from the mindstream of the Fully Enlightened Buddha. The uncommon nature is the Dharma that arises from the stream of the Fully Enlightened Buddha. The ten powers refer to the power of knowing what is and is not the case, thus it is one. The word "etc." in the so-called "such and so on" should correspond to the aggregates, etc., one by one, that is, realms and formless realms, etc., as well as right abandonment, realms such as form, emptiness, formlessness, fearlessness, etc. The Fully Enlightened One, etc., has been described. The Noble Liberation Section says that the difference in the nature of the support and the object is that the nature that is mainly self is the lineage, and the change that is mainly change is the object. First, realize the consciousness of the object, and then show it after that, so you should generate the mind that can make all sentient beings the most victorious, that is, have a great mind, all sentient beings are the most victorious, that is, the great mind. For the sentient beings of those to be tamed, etc.
