The term "equality" refers to the sameness that arises from combination itself. This is demonstrated by statements such as, "There is no attachment to form, etc." The path of seeing is the path of seeing correct wisdom. This is demonstrated by statements such as, "To the truths of suffering, etc." "Listeners, etc." refers to the non-methods and methods previously taught by listeners, solitary realizers, and bodhisattvas. This is considered to be "knowing all suchness." Because it is to be observed from all aspects, it is an aspect, that is, all-knowingness possessing the three natures. The term "with combination" means possessing combination. These are also demonstrated in order by statements such as, "The basis and wisdom are aspects," and "Because they do not abide in form, etc." Because it is to be learned, it is a quality, that is, in accordance with combination, etc. This is demonstrated by "subduing the power of demons, etc." Because it refutes, it is a fault, that is, those that obstruct. Possessing characteristics refers to knowing, etc., the four characteristics, that is, possessing these characteristics. Its faults are possessing four sets of ten. This is demonstrated in order by statements such as, "Its faults are possessing four sets of ten," and "By what is it symbolized?" "Liberation" means being free from afflictions. Discrimination means making manifest the special wisdom. Because it enters in a gradual order of knowledge from higher to higher, that itself is a part, and for the sake of benefiting it, it is the two that are in accordance with liberation and the part of discrimination. This is demonstrated in order by statements such as, "Giving without characteristics, etc.," and "The object of those in the warm stage is here." Because there is something to be learned and non-retrogression from enlightenment, "the assembly of non-retrogression from learning" refers to the sangha of learning bodhisattvas. This is demonstrated by statements such as, "Beginning from the limb of discrimination." Because it occurs again and again here, it is existence, that is, samsara. Because all suffering is nearly pacified, it is pacification, that is, nirvana. Their equality is incomparable. This is demonstrated by statements such as, "Because all phenomena are like dreams."

The field is the place where the Buddha resides. Its purity is the supreme and unsurpassed. That is, as it is shown by "Just like the sentient beings' world," and so on. Manifestly and completely realizing all aspects, this "This is" and so on, refers to knowing all the aspects of these three omniscient ones. Moreover, it is endowed with skillful means. "It is also endowed with skillful means," refers to being endowed with the skillful means of a Bodhisattva through not being discouraged, and so on. That skillful means is also the object and union of this. It is shown by "It is also the object and union of this," and so on. The peak realization is its sign, as it is said, "Its sign," and so on. What is marked and known by, that is the sign, it is the sign of the peak realization. That is also, as it is shown by "Even in dreams, all phenomena," and so on. The increase in the distinction of merit is increase, that is also, as it is shown by "The number of beings in Jambudvipa," and so on. Accomplishing the nature of the three omniscient ones is the teaching, that is, as it is shown by "Sentient beings will never be empty," and so on. The stability of the mind is the mind abiding in all, it is the distinction of Samadhi. That is, as it is shown by "The four continents and a thousand," and so on. The four aspects of discrimination, namely, entering and returning, and the two apprehended and the two apprehending based on the existence of a person as real and based on imputation, these four discriminations are the unfavorable side. Its antidote, which is obtained by the power of meaning, is also fourfold. Where is that? On the path of seeing and the path of meditation, each individually. That is, as it is shown by "On entering and returning," and so on, and "On beings existing as real and as imputed," and so on. The path of seeing is, as it is said by "On giving and so on, each one," and so on. The path of meditation is, as it is shown by "The nine successive absorptions associated with cessation," and so on. Whichever Samadhi is followed by the manifest realization of enlightenment, that is the uninterrupted path. That is also, as it is shown by "The assembly of Shravakas in the three thousand worlds," and so on. Which uninterrupted Samadhi
