By thinking "external objects do not exist" and clinging to the mind with the aspect of grasping, since the clinging to external objects has not been completely abandoned, the clinging to external objects is abandoned. By thinking with certainty that if there is no object to be grasped, there will be no grasper, the self-nature of the aspect of grasping, which is only consciousness, is also eliminated. Furthermore, it is ascertained that the non-dual wisdom alone is the essence of true existence. Moreover, since it is interdependent arising, it is without self-nature like a mirage. In reality, it is free from the nature of contemplating on the single real and unreal, and so on. By meditating in this way, when the power of meditation is perfected, just as some people's cognition of mani jewels and silver, etc., all the signs of delusion are abandoned, and the non-conceptual wisdom that appears like a mirage arises truly like self-awareness. The yogi will then truly eliminate the obscuration of knowledge. If it is not like this, but like constantly clinging to the nature of emptiness as merely non-existent, clinging to one's own nature that cannot be generated or abandoned, then, if the momentary dharma is only the nature of cognition, and the characteristics of the knowable are truly existent, then by practicing the antidote, like space, one can do nothing about them. Therefore, since others cling to reality and cannot reverse it, the Blessed One has eliminated all obscurations of knowledge, and whoever admits that dharmas exist, these two are admitting mutually contradictory meanings, so I consider it an extreme. In this way, by eliminating the side of existence and establishing the side of selflessness, therefore those who desire liberation should only admit this. In the meantime, the verse says: The way of abiding. There is nothing to be eliminated here. There is nothing to be established. See the truth in the truth. Having seen the truth, be liberated. It is said like this. Because it is not appropriate to be liberated from clinging to reality, therefore, for any dharma, without eliminating and establishing with the nature of defamation and addition, but with form etc. as the basis.

Therefore, regarding this nature that truly exists in conventional reality through dependent arising, one should examine its nature of selflessness, etc. In this way, just as an illusory elephant defeats another illusory elephant, by reversing the perverted, seeing the suchness, one will attain liberation. Thus, having spoken of seeing the face, the true and unfeigned path of seeing is: Generosity and so on, each, Those mutually embracing, The patience of a single instant, Embracing this is the path of seeing. As it is said, the six perfections of generosity, etc., each with the nature of generosity, etc., mutually embracing as before, that which is embraced by the patience of a single moment of the knowledge of dharma in suffering, well distinguished by the purity of the three spheres, the thirty-six aspects that are born, is the path of seeing in the peak realization. When this arises, with the distinction of the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm, the four conceptualizations, each with nine aspects, abandon the hundred and eight conceptualizations of grasper and grasped. By abandoning the hundred and eight afflictions of the habitual tendencies that generate conceptualizations embraced by these, it is attained by the dharma nature of dependent arising. In order to have dominion over it, therefore, one repeatedly meditates on it, as the intermediate verses say. Thereafter, the lion well extended, Entering into samadhi and abiding, The reason of dependent arising, forward and backward, Properly attending and contemplating. As it is said, the yogi who attains the path of seeing, in order to be without the fear of afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge, enters into the samadhi of the lion well extended and abides. Thereafter, regarding dependent arising, such as ignorance conditioning actions, etc., the forward reason, and the cessation of birth, therefore the cessation of aging and death, etc., the backward reason, properly attending and contemplating. Thus, having spoken of the path of seeing, abandoning unfavorable factors, etc., if it is easy to understand with establishment as a premise, therefore it is the path of meditating on dependent arising, and the cessation samadhi.
