Furthermore, due to the power of skillful means, it is said that all beings should be established in the fruit of nirvana, and should be taken hold of with faultlessness, causing them to enter. Thus, the first grasping-related conceptualization, the nine aspects that are the basis of the entering side, are considered to be abandoned by the stage of application in the path of seeing. The second grasping-related conceptualization, the basis of reversal, how are there nine aspects? It is said: 'Because of falling into existence and peace, and the nature of inferior realization, and the absence of complete grasping, the characteristics of the path, going by other conditions, actions being reversed, transience and variety, being confused about dwelling and going, and following after, these nine aspects of conceptualization are the basis of the reversing side, arising from the minds of hearers and so on.' It is said that falling into either samsara or nirvana, due to the nature of inferior realization, and being separated from a virtuous friend who is skilled in means, due to the absence of complete grasping, and not being an antidote to all obscurations of knowledge, due to the path of practice being incomplete, and relying on the instructions of the Tathagatas and so on, due to going by other conditions, and not entering into the great mind of the supreme nature of all sentient beings and so on, due to actions being reversed, due to the antidote to the obscurations of affliction, due to the function of the transient path, and due to having an object, due to realizing the differences such as the first fruit, and due to not abandoning all the latent tendencies of ignorance, due to not knowing dwelling and going, and due to gathering all the great vehicles, due to the all-knowingness following after the end of all nirvana, due to having faults, it should be reversed as not to be taken hold of. Thus, the second grasping-related conceptualization, the basis of the reversing side, the nine aspects that should be taken and arise in the continuum of hearers and solitary realizers, are considered to be abandoned by the stage of entering in the mind and mental factors of the path of seeing of the Bodhisattvas.

Furthermore, how are the nine aspects of the first-born, substantially existent object of attachment, which is the conceptual thought of ordinary beings? They are: grasping and abandoning, attention and the elements, these three and close association, abiding and manifest clinging, the imputation of the reality of phenomena, attachment and antidote, and as desired, going to ruin. Know the first to be grasping. It is said that grasping and abandoning are like illusions in conventional truth, and attending without attending in ultimate truth. All three realms of Dharma-nature are closely related, abiding because not abiding in emptiness, manifestly clinging to everything because not manifestly clinging to objects, all phenomena are imputed because there is no substantial existence, and attachment that precedes manifest non-clinging because of knowing the non-attachment of that very nature. The antidote is the very nature of meditating on equality, and because the Perfection of Wisdom is not fully understood, going as desired to obstacles, clinging because of manifest clinging to truly existent things. It is held that the first conceptual thought of grasping should be abandoned by the stage of application of the path of seeing. Furthermore, how are the nine aspects of the second conceptual thought of grasping, the object of dependence that exists by imputation of a person? They are: not intentionally determining not to arise, definitely grasping the path as non-path, birth with cessation, having and not having things, abiding and lineage are destruction, striving for meaning and without cause, and the object of refuters is the object. This is another conceptual thought of grasping. It is said that because of the definite renunciation of Hearers and so on, not intentionally determining not to arise as it should be, and because there is no path of one's own desire, definitely grasping another path as not being the path. Birth and cessation by the nature of cause and effect in conventional truth, having and not having all things because of being uninterrupted and appearing as one, abiding in form and so on like birds and nets abiding in the sky, the destruction of the lineage of Hearers and so on through the door of generating the mind of enlightenment and so on, and thus, a Dharma that is especially superior to that nature.
