The aspect is that, solely by its own nature, it is separated from the basis of characteristics such as form, and because of believing and attending to it, it does not believe, and because of attending to that very nature, there is no complete knowledge, this is called (aspect). In this way, because there are no evil destinies, and because of enduring the great Dharma, it becomes enduring, possessing an object of focus and an aspect, there are three aspects. The function of that samadhi, prediction and pride are exhausted, the three are mutually one essence, samadhi is non-conceptual. Thus, the part of ascertainment is small, medium, and large. The object of focus of the small is to meditate on samadhi such as the unborn nature of all phenomena and courageous conduct. The aspect is that, relying on the power of one's own aspirations, merit, wisdom, and the realm of Dharma, it is naturally accomplished, and in all realms of the world, according to what is appropriate, the function of samadhi enters. The object of focus of the medium is that, for the yogi who possesses samadhi that has truly entered, the Buddhas make predictions, this is the nature of Dharma. The aspect is that all discriminations are unreasonable, and when the Bodhisattva realizes the self-nature of samadhi, the awareness such as 'I am abiding in equanimity' does not arise. The object of focus of the great is that, because of the nature of Dharma, samadhi and the Bodhisattva and the Prajnaparamita and the three meanings are mutually one essence. The aspect is that all phenomena are non-existent, and non-conceptualizing in samadhi is a supreme method. In this way, because it is the most supreme of all worldly dharmas, it is called the supreme of Dharma, possessing an object of focus and an aspect, there are three aspects. The object of focus is impermanence and so on, possessing a basis of truth. Apart from this phrase, it can be expressed by stating the specific nature and Dharma of the object of focus and aspect, but expressing it completely by stating the specific Dharma of the object of focus and aspect, apart from abandoning and not abandoning other differences, there is no difference in meaning in these, because it arises from reasoning. Another situation is the words

Although distinguished in terms of aggregation, they are only focused on and distinguished as belonging to the truths of suffering, etc., because they have the characteristics of preventing attachment, etc., and therefore they will become neither affirming nor negating. The same should be understood for the following. In order to clarify the four discriminations, the following verses are interspersed: By the base and its antidote, grasping discriminations are of two kinds. By the distinctions of ignorance and aggregates, etc., they are separately of nine kinds. It is said that grasping discriminations are of two kinds by the very basis of the basis of affliction and the basis of the antidote, and of nine kinds by the distinctions of ignorance and purified aggregates, etc. By the basis of substance and imputation, the grasper is also considered to be of two kinds. Self, autonomy, etc., are the nature, and the aggregates, etc., are likewise from the basis. It is said that the brief meaning of grasping discriminations is that they are observed in relation to the real person and the imputed individual. They are separately of nine kinds because they are observed only in relation to afflictions, etc. Among them, the brief meaning is: the basis of the basis of affliction, ignorance, and aggregates such as form, and attachment to name and form, and attachment to the two extremes, and not understanding affliction and purification, and not abiding in the noble path, and the object, and self and autonomy, etc., and generating purification, etc., these are all grasping discriminations; the basis of the antidote, the aggregates, and the gate of birth, and lineage, and birth, and emptiness, and the meaning of going to the other shore, and seeing, and meditating, and the path of no more learning, these are all grasping discriminations; the basis of the real person, self, autonomy, the only one, the cause, and the seer, etc., and affliction, and detachment, and seeing, and meditating, and the discriminations that grasp onto the basis of meaning; the basis of the imputed individual, the aggregates and sources, and elements, and dependent origination.
