Therefore, do you think that only our tenets should be adopted? It is not so. If it is admitted that the true Dharma exists, then the Blessed One has completely abandoned all the conceptualizations of the afflictive obscurations and the cognitive obscurations, which is a very wonderful state. As the verse in the text says: Other dharmas also exist, and there are also those who explain what is to be known, if it is said that everything is an obstacle, I am surprised by this. This is to say that by meditating on the dharmas of samsara, because of arising and ceasing, they are selfless, thereby completely abandoning the attachment to self, and correctly focusing on the aggregates, etc., which are devoid of self, these are dharmas that arise and perish depending on conditions. In order to determine the focus on blue and the cognition of blue, it is thought that this is only mind, there is no external object. If the attachment to the mind with the aspect of the grasper is not completely abandoned, then abandon the attachment to external objects. By being certain that if there is no grasped, there is no grasper, thereby eliminating the nature of the aspect of the grasper, which is only consciousness. Then determine that this unique non-dual wisdom is the true nature that exists. And, because it also arises depending on conditions, it is without nature like an illusion. In reality, it is far from the nature of distinguishing between things and non-things, etc. By meditating in this way, when the power of meditation is perfected, just as some people distinguish the cognition of agate, silver, etc., all the signs of error are abandoned, an illusory nature appears, and an inconceivable, self-cognizing wisdom arises as it is. The yogi thereby correctly eliminates the cognitive obscurations. If it is not so, if one always clings to the nature of emptiness, which is like clinging to the nature of insubstantiality, then, if the momentary dharmas and the nature of what is to be known truly exist in the ultimate sense, then by practicing the antidote, just like treating emptiness, one can do nothing about them.

Therefore, because others are attached to the appearance of things, and cannot reverse the inverted, the Blessed One abandoned all kinds of obscurations of knowledge, and also the admission that phenomena exist, these two are admitting mutually contradictory meanings, therefore I regard them as extreme. In this way, by excluding the side of existence, the side of selflessness is stabilized, therefore those who desire liberation should only promise this, as an intermediate verse: The side of existence, in this there is nothing to be excluded, there is not even a little to be established, in reality see reality, after seeing reality, liberation is obtained. Thus it is said. Because it is not possible to be liberated from attachment to the appearance of things, therefore one should not slander any dharma, not make exclusion and establishment with the nature of superimposition, but should contemplate form and other dependent arising dharmas, the nature of truly existing in the conventional, as the nature of selflessness and so on. In this way, just as a magical elephant defeats another magical elephant, by reversing the inverted, if one sees Suchness, one will obtain liberation. In this way, after speaking of the words that come to the mouth, the real path of seeing is: generosity etc. one by one, those which mutually gather, gathered by the moment's forbearance, the gatherer here is the path of seeing. Thus it is said. The six perfections of generosity etc., each with the nature of generosity etc., as before, mutually hold each other, that is, held by the forbearance of knowing the dharma of suffering in an instant, the arising of thirty-six aspects well distinguished by the purity of the three circles, that is the path of seeing of the peak abhisamaya. When it arises, through the distinction of the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm, the hundred and eight kinds of conceptualizations of grasping and grasper, each with nine aspects, are abandoned. By abandoning the hundred and eight habitual afflictions produced by the conceptualizations held by them, it is obtained by the dharmata of dependent arising. In order to be able to control it, therefore again and again.
