Wishing to make afflictions without remainder, one should dedicate to perfect and complete enlightenment, like this are the aspects of the truth of the path. Like this are the moments of the knowledge of the path itself. Some think that here, emphasis is placed on expressing the meaning in verses, therefore the scriptures do not explain the meaning of the aspects, but only slightly express the sixteen moments of the path of seeing. For the parts of the scriptures that explain and do not explain, and the verses that conform to the meaning, etc., one should also view them in the same way. Others say that because these do not explain the stages of practice, etc., they do not explain even a little of the stages of realization. Still others say, how to interpret the meaning of verses such as "object and aspect"? After the path of seeing, one should speak of the path of meditation, but because the content spoken is very little, and the object of taming is focused on the fruit, so for a while, speak of its function. "Completely peaceful and to all, prostration and victory over afflictions, without being oppressed by harm, enlightenment and the object of offering." Thus it is said, that is, in all aspects, making the mind free, and prostrating to all beings such as virtuous friends, and overcoming desire, etc., and not being the object of following the harm done by others, and accomplishing perfect and complete enlightenment, and making offerings to the object of reliance, these are the six functions. After the function is the path of meditation, which is divided into two types by the difference of with outflows and without outflows. Therefore, the path of meditation with outflows has faith, dedication, rejoicing, and attention, etc., among which the first path of meditation is faith attention. Faith in one's own benefit and, one's own and others' benefit and others' benefit, these three knowable things, are also divided into small, medium, and large, each of which is divided into three, so, with the small also divided into small and other differences, that is also divided into three, so there are twenty-seven types.

Even if it is based on the benefit of oneself and others, the basis of virtuous Dharma seen as desired, but from the perspective of the path of meditation, the nature that does not appear at first also has three aspects. These are also divided into three types, each with distinctions such as smallness. This is further divided into three types, each with distinctions such as the smallest of the small. Thus, with three sets of nine, there are twenty-seven types of faith. In order to generate joy in the meditating Bodhisattva, the Buddhas and others made praises and so on for such faith. It is said: "Praise and respect and commendation, in the perfection of wisdom, in the stages of faith, with three sets of nine, praise and so on, respect and desire to commend." It means: the perfection of wisdom, the nature of Dharma seen as desired, the faith entering into it, the first, second, and third mental activities, in the nine stages, each in nine ways, gradually manifesting joy from above, wanting to praise, respect, and commend, therefore these praises and so on are the nature of truly understanding the true meaning, not the nature of falsehood. Since dedication arises after such faith, the second is dedication mental activity, named: Completely dedicating the special one, its action is most supreme, it is the aspect of no object, the nature of non-inversion, solitude and the Buddha's accumulation of merit, the object of self-nature remembrance, possessing skillful means and no sign, the Buddha's approval and the three realms, those not included and small, medium, and large, other dedications are three, the nature of great merit arising. It is said, as previously mentioned, the special one of faith, as well as no object, as well as non-inversion, as well as solitude, as well as the self-nature remembrance of the Tathagata's accumulation of virtuous roots, as well as possessing skillful means, as well as no sign, as well as the Buddha's permission, as well as not belonging to the three realms, as well as small, as well as medium, as well as large, that is called the arising of great merit, the mental activity so named
