Should be practiced. Thus it was said, great compassion, as well as generosity, as well as discipline, as well as patience, as well as diligence, as well as meditation, as well as wisdom, as well as tranquility, as well as insight, as well as the path of union, as well as skillful means, as well as wisdom, as well as merit, as well as the path of seeing and so on, as well as the dharani of words and so on, by not observing the ground and the antidotes, without exceeding the conventional truth, accomplishing all the meanings of the Great Vehicle, by the nature of truly accomplishing great compassion and so on, holding the great Bodhi, great compassion and so on are the accumulations, therefore, there are seventeen kinds of practices of accumulation. Among them, the accumulation of wisdom is: inner, and outer, and both of them, and emptiness, and great, and ultimate, and conditioned, and unconditioned, and beyond the limit, and beginning, and without end, and without abandonment, and self-nature, and all dharmas, and one's own characteristics, and unobservable, and the nature of non-existence, and existence and non-existence, and one's own nature, and the nature of others, with the distinction of emptiness, there are twenty kinds. Here it is said: Inner and outer realms, two and emptiness things, direction and path of nirvana, arising from conditions and one another, beyond the beginning without abandonment, self-nature and all dharmas, dharma arising and so on beyond and so on, possessing and one another's nature, space and emptiness are called, the nature of the other of dharma. Because one's own nature is empty, emptiness is said to be twenty. In the accumulation of the ground, in order to show what kind of dharma can purify what kind of ground, twenty-three intermediate verses are declared. With ten kinds of purification, the ground will be obtained at the beginning, thinking and benefiting the nature of things, equality of mind for all sentient beings. Giving and relying on good friends, seeking the supreme Dharma as the goal, the nature of constant renunciation, desiring the body of the Buddha and rejoicing. Speaking the Dharma and the truth, the word is the tenth to be known. These self-natures are unobservable, one should know to purify and practice. Thus it is called the basis of order.
