In the treatise of secret instructions on the Perfection of Wisdom, the Ornament of Clear Realization, the commentary on the fourth chapter is complete. Commentary on the fifth chapter. In order to obtain the complete realization of all aspects, the supreme perfect realization arises. In order to make it easy to understand, the peak clear realization that precedes the designation of signs and so on. "Even in dreams, all phenomena, are seen as dreamlike, etc. The sign of the practice that has reached the peak, is considered to be twelve kinds." It is said that, because of being very accustomed to it, even in the state of dreaming, one sees all phenomena as similar to dreams, etc.; not generating a mind of joy in the grounds of the Hearers, etc.; seeing the Tathagata, etc.; focusing on the manifestation of the Buddha's miraculous powers; generating the mind to teach the Dharma; seeing sentient beings in hell, etc., first remembering to abandon the bad destinies in one's own Buddha-field; accomplishing the truth of blessing that completely pacifies the fire of cities, etc.; accomplishing the truth of speech that makes non-humans such as yakshas disappear; relying on a virtuous friend who overcomes others with self-knowledge; studying the Perfection of Wisdom in all aspects; having no attachment to all phenomena; and being close to the Buddha's enlightenment, these twelve are the special signs of the state of obtaining the peak clear realization. So, how many kinds of increase are there, indicated by signs? Increase. "As many beings as there are in Jambudvipa, the merit of offering to the Buddhas, etc., are used as examples in many ways, the nature of increase is sixteen." It is said that it is more excellent than offering to the Tathagata by as many sentient beings as there are in Jambudvipa, etc., the three thousand great thousand world realms, and especially contemplating the Perfection of Wisdom, obtaining tolerance of the unborn Dharma, not grasping the phenomena to be enlightened and the phenomena that enlighten, and the ten virtues, etc., and the formless absorptions.

Being superior to teaching, and all the hosts of gods drawing near, and subduing all demons, and abiding equally among beings like a teacher, these are called the eight kinds of merit. Moreover, being skilled in means in every way, thereby making the training completely pure, and transforming into the lineage of the Buddha, and the reason for obtaining the fruit of Buddhahood itself, and not giving rise to a mind that contradicts the pāramitās, and not excessively giving rise to a mind that realizes having form and so on, and knowing the collection of all pāramitās, and obtaining all perfections, and drawing near to perfect and complete enlightenment, these are called another eight kinds of merit. By exemplifying many kinds of merit, such as offering flowers and so on to the Buddha, the very nature of the sixteen states is increasing due to the superiority of the above. Thus, increasing and becoming independent of increasing, the characteristics of completion are definitely stable, therefore definitely stable. Omniscient Of the three dharmas, Perfect and unsurpassed, Not abandoning the meaning of sentient beings, Is manifestly called stable. Thus it is said. Thus, by the power of skillful means of perfect equality, in the state of realizing non-discrimination, the characteristic of not abandoning the meaning of sentient beings by the nature of manifesting great compassion. Thus, the three omniscient ones, such as the omniscient nature and so on as previously stated, the arising of the Dharma mind and so on as previously mentioned, perfect and unsurpassed is definitely stable. Thus, by making it definitely stable, the characteristic of becoming definitely stable is that the mind universally abides, therefore the mind universally abides. By exemplifying the four continents and a thousand, and two thousand and three thousand, with many merits, meditation is fully proclaimed.
