Hiding and concealing, and wanting to manifest the Buddha himself, thereby avoiding killing oneself and so on, abiding in the omniscient wisdom, and placing other beings in it, and wanting to make generosity and other actions inexhaustible, thereby dedicating them to perfect complete enlightenment, such are the aspects of the truth of the path. Such are the moments of the knowledge of the path. Some people think that here, the treatises that focus on expressing the meaning in verses, without explaining the meaning of the aspects, only symbolically express the sixteen moments of the path of seeing. Therefore, for distinguishing the parts that have been explained and not explained, and for the verses that conform to the meaning, etc., it should be viewed in the same way. Others say that because these do not show the stages of cultivation, etc., they do not show the stages of realization at all. Still others say, how should we understand the meaning of the verses such as "object and aspect"? After the path of seeing, the path of cultivation should be explained, but because there is little to be said, and the beings to be tamed tend to pursue the fruit, so for the time being, its function is explained. "All peace and to all, reverence and victory over afflictions, without harm and enlightenment, and the object of offering." Thus it is said. In all cases, being able to independently control the mind, paying homage to all beings such as virtuous friends, overcoming afflictions such as desire, not becoming the recipient of harm done by others, accomplishing perfect complete enlightenment, and making the object of reliance the object of offering, these are the six functions. After the function is the path of cultivation, which is divided into two types: with outflows and without outflows. Therefore, the path of cultivation with outflows includes faith, dedication, rejoicing, and attention, etc., among which the first path of cultivation is faith attention, that is, faith in one's own benefit, the benefit of oneself and others, and the benefit of others, these three knowable things.

I, the medium, and the great, are each considered to be of three kinds. By the distinctions of small of the small, etc., if that is also of three kinds, it is considered to be twenty-seven kinds. Thus it is said, oneself, both, and focusing on the benefit of others, seeing as desired, even if it is the support of virtuous Dharma, from the perspective of the path of meditation, the nature of not initially manifesting is also of three kinds. Each of those is also of three kinds by the distinctions of small, etc., and that is also of three kinds by the distinctions of small of the small, etc. Thus, three nines form twenty-seven kinds of aspiration. In order to generate joy for the meditating Bodhisattva, thus for aspiration, praise, etc., are made by the Buddhas, etc. Thus, praising, honoring, and extolling, in the Prajnaparamita, for the stages of aspiration, with three nines, praise and, honor and extol are considered. Thus it is said, the Prajnaparamita of the nature of Dharma that sees as desired, entering the aspiration, the first, second, and third mental engagements, in the nine stages, each with nine kinds in order, manifesting joy from above to above, and praise and, honor and, extol are considered, therefore these praises, etc., are the nature of realizing the true meaning as it is, not the nature of pretense. Thus, dedication arises for aspiration, so the second is dedication mental engagement, completely dedicating the special, that action is supreme. That is a kind of objectless, the nature of non-perversion. Solitude and the Buddha's accumulation of merit, the object of self-nature recollection. Possessing skillful means without characteristics and, rejoicing in the Buddha and, not belonging to the three realms and, small, medium, and large, the other dedications are three kinds, it is the nature of generating great merit. Thus it is said, the special aspiration as described and, objectless and, non-perverted and, solitude and, the self-nature recollection of the Tathagata's root of virtue accumulation and, possessing skillful means and.

Without characteristics, and given by the Buddha, and not belonging to the three realms, and small, and medium, and large, namely, the mental activity named as producing great merit, in order, are supreme enlightenment, and the aggregates such as morality, and the mind that makes green, and things endowed with self and so forth, and the virtue of the Buddhas of the three times, and generosity and so forth, and characteristics, and all paths, and realms such as desire, and the paths of action such as the ten virtues, and stream-enterers and so forth, and those who abide in unsurpassed enlightenment, focusing on the non-objective. For the sake of inexhaustibly accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings by those who have the nature of showing the near path to sentient beings to be tamed by the three vehicles, twelve kinds of dedication are made to the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. Since the things that have been well dedicated in this way are to be manifested and expanded, the third is called the mental activity of rejoicing. With skillful means and non-objectification, rejoicing in the roots of virtue, the mental activity of rejoicing, this is said to be meditation. It is said that those who rejoice with a very joyful mind, focusing on the roots of virtue with skillful means in the conventional, and with non-objectification in the ultimate, are those who should be rejoiced. The summarized meaning of this is that with the mental activity of faith, merit is accumulated from the sources and so on like gold dust. With the mental activity of dedication, it becomes a branch of perfect and complete enlightenment like an ornament made by a goldsmith. With the mental activity of rejoicing, one obtains the equality of the merit done by oneself and others, this is it. Below the contaminated is the uncontaminated path of meditation, and that is also of two kinds. Therefore, the first is the path of meditation of the characteristic of manifesting accomplishment. Its very nature is supreme, it does not manifestly accumulate in everything, and the fact that the dharmas are not focused on is of great meaning. It is said that seeing form and so on without error is the nature. Others become Buddhas.
