Having attained complete purity of body, speech, and mind, these three are therefore tranquil and pure. Since one does not generate miserliness and other such thoughts, one is not desirous of gain. Since one does not engage in actions that contradict the nature of reality at all times and places, one is supreme. Because of cherishing beings, one desires to be born in hell and other such realms, and therefore one always desires the Dharma. Because of trusting in the nature of reality through realization, one has transcended the realm of the Maras. Since one has definitely known the form of subduing the Maras, one does not rely on others, and one does not abide in the four concentrations of the Buddha's appearance. Since one abides in the part of definite distinction, one cultivates the nature of reality after the characteristic of non-retrogression, and since one abides on the path of seeing, the characteristic of non-retrogression is also shown to be from the actions of body, speech, and mind. Starting with the statement "fame," etc., since one turns away from the perception of form, etc., one does not desire fame. By merely entering the Great Vehicle, all faults are eliminated, so one's mind is not disturbed by anger. Even if one realizes selflessness and becomes a householder through the power of skillful means for the benefit of sentient beings, one can still enjoy without attachment, because one sees the faults of objects at all times, so one is practicing celibacy, and therefore without attachment, one is not attached to all things. Since one lives by the Dharma nature of a noble person, one does not live by engaging in inferior trade and other such activities. Similarly, one does not seek mantras of manifest action such as Camundi (藏文:ཙ་མུནྚི་) for the purpose of harming sentient beings, nor does one seek mantras of desire gods and others for the purpose of healing diseases, nor does one seek union mantras for controlling men and women. One does not make predictions, such as "if one does actions related to desire, one will definitely be reborn as a man or a woman." Since one relies on the two truths, one strives for the supreme transcendent wisdom that is completely secluded. Since one is free from anger of body and speech, one is free from fighting and arguing. Since one has a mind that generates supreme happiness for all sentient beings, one also shows loving-kindness. Since one abides in emptiness, one desires omniscience. Since one has no object of focus on any Dharma whatsoever, one is always

He is devoted to the teachings. Having obtained the desired rebirth, he completely abandons the borderlands of the barbarian peoples. Since the word "completely abandons" is also related to the following sentence, it (means) abandoning the borderlands, that is, the borderlands. Because of generating certainty through complete faith, the one who possesses the nature of the three omniscient ones has no doubt in his own territory, so he is without doubt. Because he abides in the nature of certainty, he is always like Mount Meru. Because of being extremely devoted to all-knowing and other dharmas, he gives after thinking, even giving up his life. Because of having valid mindfulness, the yogi strives diligently. Here, only a few aspects of non-retrogression are discussed. That is, the collection of causes produces the result, and whatever is inferred from this, because it does not depend on other meanings, that is said to be the nature. With such reasoning, the sign indicated here should also be known. The explanation of the seventeenth chapter, the chapter on non-retrogression, from the "Collected Verses of Precious Qualities" is completed. Thus, while dwelling on the path of meditation, when showing the nature of non-retrogression, if the difference is not understood, other differences will not be understood. Therefore, with this reasoning, in order to temporarily show the difference from the path of meditation, form and so on are taught. Just as suchness is profound, similarly, in ultimate truth, form is unborn, so it is profound. Similarly, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are also profound with suchness. Form and so on are not form and so on, because they are imputed, so they do not exist. Similarly, those conventional forms and so on, also with the reasoning of ordinary nature, having abandoned all characteristics, are therefore without characteristics. Because all trainings are peaceful, they are extremely peaceful. This also negates the view that form and so on are not other than suchness. For example, understanding only with valid cognition is like throwing a measuring tool to find the depth of the ocean. Similarly, if one determines with wisdom to be free from the extremes of addition and subtraction, then because no matter how one investigates, one cannot find the depth, therefore it possesses profundity, that is, it is profound, and this will show that it is the path of meditation.
