The rivers dry up, and you thoroughly reveal the certain nature of reality. How do you reveal the nature of reality? You speak of form and so on. Since all phenomena are contained within the five aggregates, form, too, is like an illusion and is not visible. Similarly, feelings and whatever is mind, and whatever is consciousness that distinguishes things, and the habitual tendencies of virtuous things and so on that are accumulated in the mind—none of these can be traced back, because they are free from the nature of one and many. Therefore, seeing with the eye of wisdom is seeing reality, as the Tathagata taught, and this dispels perversion. Closing the eyes, or being like a blind person with incomplete eyes, or not seeing because of a mind that thinks it is seeing, should not be called true seeing. For when a yogi arises from the samadhi of non-perception and clings to things and non-things, afflictions and cognitive obscurations arise. What is seen here? You speak of space and so on. Just as space, because it is devoid of all things, transcends the scope of direct perception and inference, it is not seen, but it exists in the conventional language of sentient beings. But in the ultimate truth, space does not exist, so how can one see form? There is no seeing at all. Therefore, examine this meaning through analysis. Therefore, space is merely a term. One must realize that the so-called "not seeing is seeing" is complete. Thus, seeing reality is also taught by the Tathagata. Because what is not seen cannot be seen as having a single, definite nature, since all things are like illusions. This concludes the explanation of the twelfth chapter, "The Teaching on the World," from The Jewel Garland of Qualities. Since the general nature of knowledge is fully understood, its particularity must be understood in particular. Therefore, the characteristics of particularity must be stated. That is, the particularity of the paths of the Hearers and so on, and the particularity of the nature of the inconceivable path and so on, make it more excellent.

In order to understand the characteristics of the forbearance of knowing the Dharma in suffering, etc., in the realm of the truth of suffering, etc., "seeing," etc., is spoken. Any Bodhisattva who contemplates the inconceivable and unequal nature of things sees the Perfection of Wisdom, and thus attains the path of seeing. Also, by the power of practice here, it becomes the nature of the characteristics of all dharmas, and all actions closely related to the forbearance of knowing the Dharma in suffering, etc., are born from this. Just as the king stays still while the ministers handle all affairs, similarly, whatever the number and whatever the voice of the Buddha, all should be combined with the Perfection of Wisdom. The perfectly enlightened Buddhas, as well as the dharmas created by the solitary Buddhas, and similarly, whatever the actions of the Shravakas, all of those are done by the Perfection of Wisdom. In order to clearly show this, "king," etc., is spoken. The king's city is like the body's excellence, etc. The country is Magadha, etc. The retinue is Rajagriha, etc. The king does not go there himself, but the nature of the king is that the local people also collect all the grains, as if transporting them. Similarly, the Dharma nature of the Bodhisattva is that he does not go anywhere, but all the qualities of the Buddha's land, which are the nature of the special path, such as the forbearance of knowing the Dharma in suffering, etc., are collected. Collecting the jewels of qualities. The explanation of the thirteenth chapter, the chapter on the Inconceivable, in verses, is completed. Furthermore, when will one obtain the special qualities of the Buddha? Therefore, "to whom," etc., is spoken. Because the Dharma that makes one a Buddha is called Buddha. The Tathagata is the Dharma of the Buddha. If a Bodhisattva who is not overcome by opposing forces has firm faith, then one should contemplate and practice the supreme Perfection of Wisdom. Supreme because it is great. If one abides in correct practice, then at that time, because one enters according to the order of the two truths, the two grounds of the Shravakas and solitary Buddhas have been far surpassed, and for the victors who are not overcome by demons and heretics, etc.
