Why not rely on the proponents of realism? Because it is said, "Called 'concept' and so on," the forms and so on that are known in the world are merely names. All of these are merely names, completely abiding in concepts, different from speech, and completely regarded as speakable. Because it is said so. The guide, that is, the teacher of beings, is merely a designation. The word 'merely' is used to eliminate other aspects, completely proclaimed as merely a name. Therefore, recognizing that it is a nominal designation, and meditating on the aspect of selflessness, then, the object to be abandoned by the path of seeing is abandoned by the power of the immediate path, which is to reach the perfection of the other shore. The attainment of the object to be attained is by the power of the path of liberation, which is to reach perfect wisdom, and to obtain freedom from concepts. Precisely for this reason, having abandoned what should be abandoned and acquired what should be acquired, and having directly realized it, one reaches the other shore. The perfection of realizing the nature without inversion is here, abiding in the path of seeing, and not relying on other inverted natures. If it is said that meditating on ultimate truth, because it has causes and conditions, has an inverted nature, then it has been said, "If" and so on. If Buddhas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges were to abide here and proclaim the sound of 'existence,' even the chief would not use it. How could other groups of beings use the word 'existence'? Because it is impossible to exist, it is free from the faults of causelessness and so on. Because there is no fault from the beginning, it is extremely pure. From what else has it become a cause? Because there is no valid cognition to establish it, how could existence arise? Therefore, the thing called reality is an inverted nature. Therefore, as previously stated, the supreme Prajnaparamita is the nature of the path of seeing. The practice is to abide and realize in the realm of the single aspect of selflessness, where all phenomena are without distinction, up to this point. In this way, practicing the path of seeing will lead to obtaining the prophecy of the Buddhas of the past.

For the sake of summarizing, it was said, "When," and so on. At what time, through cultivating the supreme pāramitā and the nature of the path as explained, one attains realization, at that time I was prophesied. The past Bhagavan Dīpaṃkara, because he realized all things as they are, said: You will become a Buddha in the future. For the sake of benefit and happiness, the Buddhas spoke words that are in accordance with this. In order to show omniscience, the path of seeing and other paths previously shown by reasoning, the knowledge of the path is established separately. The definitive path of seeing shown there should be understood as this. The explanation of the chapter on Indra, the second chapter, from the Jewel Garland of Qualities is complete. After the path of seeing, the path of cultivation should be explained, but because there is little to be said, and in order to lead beings to engage with the fruit, it is explained. Because the profound path of cultivation is the main thing, in order to show the path of doing it, it was said, "Prajñāpāramitā," and so on. Prajñāpāramitā, here refers to the nature of the path of cultivation, and the protector who saves beings by associating with and abiding in its nature is the lord, that is, bodhisattvas such as Mañjuśrī. Here, whatever is constant is at all times. The wisdom that holds the scriptures and meanings, and the nature of hearing, thinking, and meditating, is what enables realization. Destroying the nature of phenomena, thereby causing attachment to things to appear, is sixfold. Because it is the nature of burning, desire is fire. Because it is the nature of pain, weapons are hatred. Because of ignorance, cold and heat are indistinguishable, so it is water. Immovable means that through the path of cultivation, one has become extremely equal and therefore does not engage in anything universally. In other ways, it should also be understood through reasoning that external poisons and the like cannot shake or harm one. Similarly, Māra and the army of Māra are his retinue, that is, his faction. One cannot find Māra's opportunity, that is, faults and loopholes, and no matter what opportunity is seized, it will not cause harm. After the practice, the path of cultivation should be explained
