Etc., these two, which must be reversed from that itself, are what should be abandoned and what should be accepted. Because the main thing is to grasp the truth of suffering. Suchness and such emptiness, this, with the power of thorough discernment, the two, the inverted and non-inverted, of the remaining three truths, are a collection of the aspects of the conforming side and the antidote. How should a Bodhisattva become accustomed to that? It is said emptiness etc. Those such as form etc., are not objects of focus for it. Here, the antidote to the dharma of permanence etc., focusing on the reality of the four truths of aspects such as impermanence etc., by generating the path of seeing of the Hearers, by seeing it, the afflictions to be abandoned are abandoned, knowing that whatever is meditated on for as long as it takes, later, fearing to fall into that path, for the sake of abandoning, one attends to the nature of not focusing on those aspects. Therefore, the truth of emptiness does not abide even in whatever slight fruit is generally obtained. For that very reason, when those with dull, middling, and sharp faculties meditate on aspects such as impermanence etc., it is taught in the Hearer's vehicle that three kinds of enlightenment are obtained in order. In particular, not abiding in the state of Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and Thus-Gone Ones, and in all ways, by the order of teaching the Hearer's vehicle etc., because it is not a means, therefore, in order to take care of beings to be tamed, one causes the obscurations of afflictions to be abandoned by selflessness. Not only that, but the Bodhisattva also enters for the sake of victory. Before fully knowing the truth, in order to show that the part of determination is fully known by proceeding, therefore, it is said how etc. How the guide, the Bhagavan, acts without abiding, likewise, one does not abide even in the suchness of the uncompounded realm such as suchness etc. Similarly, one does not abide even in compounded things such as the desire realm etc., therefore, one abides in those that appear to it. For that very reason, even if the determination of meditating as taught is fully known and abides, the Bodhisattva abides in non-abiding itself.

No. Because the unlocated is the location, this was said by the Victorious One, the Thus-Gone One. After the path of the Hearers, it is reasonable to speak of the path of the Solitary Buddhas, but how do Solitary Buddhas surpass Hearers? By what means, what difference is there in that very path? In order to dispel such doubts, by what means, having manifestly assembled the previously heard and so forth, without relying on the teachings of others, obtaining one's own Bodhi, this is one. Similarly, abandoning the conceptualization that grasps one aspect of the obscurations of knowledge, and benefiting others without uttering sounds, with these, wisdom is profound, it is a twofold surpassing. Otherwise, if there is no surpassing, it is not reasonable for there to be a difference in the path, therefore it should be understood that this is inferred by implication. Therefore, in order to show the surpassing path, the special path of the Solitary Buddha, it was said, "Which ones," and so forth. For example, someone who is submerged in the ocean cannot see the shore on this side or the other side, and cannot go forward, because they do not know the method. Similarly, beings who are submerged in the ocean of Samsara are also like that. Because of non-retrogression, the Sugata is a Hearer. Solitary Buddhas and likewise, those who wish to become Dharma Kings, are those who manifestly wish. Therefore, for this, it is the knowledge of the path, because it is the object in all paths. Without relying on the forbearance of realization of Dharma, one cannot attain Buddhahood, meaning that one cannot attain the meaning of manifestly wishing, meaning that there is no other place to attain it. By this, it shows the meaning of the pervasive basis, by this, it will become the showing of being in accordance with the path of the Solitary Buddha. The path of the Solitary Buddha, which merely abandons the conceptualization of what is to be grasped, by what does it surpass? The nature of the path is not merely the knowledge of the path, but it is also the nature of the path of Hearers and so forth. Because there is no object to be grasped, it shows that there is no grasping. By what kind of grasping conceptualization does one grasp Dharma and understand it as a Solitary Buddha? It was said, "Explaining the Dharma," and so forth. Here, explaining the Dharma, listening, and what is to be said, are all like illusions. What is needed here is such a real Dharma, because of one's own.
