The matter spoken of is to eliminate the conceptualization of not generating the mind of enlightenment, because all dharmas are realized through the principle of the realm of dharma. The meaning of the second conceptualization is that the statement "all dharmas are completely pure by nature" is to eliminate the conceptualization of not attending to the essence of the mind of enlightenment, because all dharmas are completely known to be pure by nature. The meaning of the third conceptualization is that the statement "all dharmas are without words" is to eliminate the conceptualization of attending to the vehicle of the hearers, because all dharmas are beyond the path of words. The meaning of the fourth conceptualization is that the statement "all dharmas are without cessation, therefore abandonment is equal" is to eliminate the conceptualization of attending to the vehicle of the solitary realizers, because all dharmas are without birth, therefore abandonment is the same, so there is no cessation. The meaning of the fifth conceptualization is that the statement "all dharmas attain nirvana and are equal to suchness" is to eliminate the conceptualization of not attending to perfect complete enlightenment, because all dharmas are equal to suchness, and their nature is known to be nirvana. The meaning of the sixth conceptualization is that the statement "all dharmas do not come, do not go, do not know, do not arise, and are extremely unborn" is to eliminate the conceptualization of meditation, because there is no past or future time, so sequentially they do not come and do not go. Therefore, one does not understand existing dharmas, and what arises now does not arise, and like the realm of dharma, it is extremely unborn. The meaning of the seventh conceptualization is that the statement "do not look to self and other" is to eliminate the conceptualization of non-meditation, because one does not cling to self and other. The meaning of the eighth conceptualization is that the statement "all dharmas are noble arhats," etc., is to eliminate the conceptualization of neither meditating nor not meditating, because there are no faults such as birth, so all dharmas are noble. It is worthy of meditation.

Therefore, it is an Arhat, because the illusory nature itself is completely pure in its own nature. The meaning of the ninth distinction is that it is said that all dharmas have been abandoned as burdens and no longer carry burdens. In order to eliminate distinctions that are not as they are, it is said that when there is no burden of afflictions and cognitive obscurations, it is the abandonment of burdens. It is said that because of separation from virtuous friends, the mind of enlightenment does not arise; because there is no particularly excellent merit focused on the Buddha, the essence of enlightenment is not contemplated; because one is of the Hearer lineage, one does not contemplate that vehicle; because one is of the Solitary Realizer lineage, one manifestly inclines towards that vehicle; because of separation from practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, one does not contemplate perfect and complete enlightenment; one meditates with an object; one does not meditate without an object; since there is neither an object nor no object, there is neither meditation nor no meditation; because of perverse clinging, one clings to things and so forth in what is not as it is, and becomes unreasonable, one should turn away by oneself. Thus, the second distinction of what is apprehended, based on the side of turning away, the nine aspects, should be abandoned by Bodhisattvas in the stage of entering the path of meditation, the mind and mental factors, because the stage of the antidote to that and that is shown, it is said that it is taught in the way of turning away. It is also said: The second, the mind and mental events, are considered to have an object of entry, the mind does not arise and the essence of enlightenment is not contemplated, and the inferior vehicle is contemplated, and perfect enlightenment is not contemplated, meditation and no meditation, and the reversal from those, and the distinction of what is not as it is, should be known on the path of meditation. Having taught the two distinctions of what is apprehended in this way, the first distinction of what is apprehended, the nine aspects, should be taught. Therefore, the meaning of the first distinction is that all dharmas are without an object.
