It is like that. The so-called "with a mind free from anger" means with a mind free from anger. This is also the so-called "with a mind free from harm." The so-called "with a mind free from opposition" means being free from creating fear. The so-called "having a sense of closeness to all sentient beings" and so on are easy to understand. However, it should also be understood that through this approximate example, it should also be understood as having a sense of closeness to brothers, sisters, friends, companions, relatives, and in-laws. Among them, parents and so on are spoken of in pairs, and in total, they can be divided into five types. The so-called "May I abide as the protector of all sentient beings" is shown in this way: equality, love, benefit, non-anger, and non-opposition, these five types, and the state of mind towards father, mother, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, friends, companions, relatives, and in-laws, if they are focused on all sentient beings, one can obtain the root of virtue of truly realizing warmth, so it is called the protector of all sentient beings. It is said: In this object of warmth, all sentient beings are praised. Having equanimity and so on towards them, there are ten forms. This is how it is said. With the power of the peak, it is said "oneself also" and so on. It is said in this way that oneself abides in abandoning all evils and practicing generosity and other virtues, and similarly, exhorts others to abandon evils, exhorts others to practice virtues, praises, speaks, rejoices, and delights, by relying on these, the (root of virtue) belonging to the peak will arise, it is said in this way. It is said: Oneself abandons evils, abides in generosity and other virtues, placing others in these, praising, speaking, and rejoicing, is the peak. This is how it is said. With the power of patience, it is said "similarly, from the truth to the flawless conduct of the Bodhisattva" and so on. Just as in the case of the peak, the difference between the object of focus and the form relying on oneself and others is explained.

Patience arises by focusing on aspects such as the four truths, beginning with suffering, and the nature of grounds such as the first fruit and great joy, fully understanding them oneself and encouraging others to cultivate them as well. As it is said, such patience is: Knowing the truth of self and others, dependent origination. It is said. By empowering the supreme dharma, dwelling on the maturation of sentient beings, and focusing on aspects such as these, it becomes the supreme dharma, as it is said. As it is said: The supreme dharma is such, sentient beings, should be known by maturation, etc. It is said. These qualities that are in accordance with the decisive factor also become three each, through the distinctions of small, medium, and large. Among them, the small one belonging to warmth is the mind of equanimity and love, because at this time there is no harm to others. The medium one is the three minds of benefit, etc., with the thought of benefiting others in the future. The medium one is benefit, the large one is the generation of the mind of giving, etc., showing that in this life and the next, it is from the desire to accomplish the wishes of others. The small one belonging to the peak is turning away from sin, combining self and others, from the desire to turn away from the cause of suffering for others. The medium one is giving, etc., placing self and others, from the desire to properly place others in the cause of happiness. The large one is meditating on the two aspects of dependent origination, engaging self and others, it is said based on the desire to eliminate the inverted happiness and suffering of others. The small, medium, and large patience, in order, from such truth to the faultless ground of the Bodhisattva, is said based on the desire to definitely place others on the noble path and the first fruit, etc., and the state of Buddhahood itself. Although that is so, great patience is not held to be many moments. The small, medium, and large supreme dharma are, in order, other beings
