It is thought that it is because it is in accordance with what follows. Therefore, "the field is desolate" means to be lost from faith. "Becoming discouraged" means even if one already has faith. "The mind becomes coarse" is because one has not found the object of dharma that is determined separately. That is said to be like the burning of cotton. Because burning is due to the accumulation of cotton, it is the burning of cotton. Because it is similar and the same as not abiding in the teaching, it will become like that. In cases such as illness, or in cases such as behavior, one should say in order, "will not accept accordingly, will not enter accordingly, will not indicate accordingly." In order to show the difference of the object summarized by the four moments, it is said, "Subhuti, for example," and so on. Because there is no internal or external harm and there is happiness, the two words "on the shore of the other side" are spoken. That is "without injury, without destruction." "Not abandoning in the middle" means that it is completely destroyed and decayed in the middle. Regarding "having faith," etc., having faith in that is to manifestly believe in existence itself. Having patience is having patience for the unborn dharma. Desire is clinging itself. Intention is wanting to do itself. Diligence is being happy in virtue. Caution is to cultivate and not cultivate virtue and non-virtue in order. Faith is to cling to the only certainty. Higher thought is to focus the mind on doing the benefit of others, etc. Giving is to give all things together with their fruits. Respect is to prostrate to everything itself. Joy is inner happiness. Satisfaction is the difference of joy. Purity is the difference of faith arising from seeing that one has qualities. Great joy is to manifestly desire to be able to accomplish. Not abandoning diligence is not abandoning the burden of vows. The analogy of grasping and not grasping is to clearly show the discordant qualities and antidotes of the omniscient itself, which has obstacles and is without obstacles.

Indicating that which is encompassed by the first moment of the path of the distinction of the support is, Subhuti, it is said, such as, for example, and so on. The doubt that this is not reasonable arises, and is greeted with "Why is that?" The answer is given by the nature of things, such as, in this way, it is said, a pot, and so on. "If that water is taken" means when water is drawn. Likewise, the speculation of "Why is that?" is answered as before, such as, in this way, it is said, a pot, and so on. "The perfection of wisdom and skillful means" is another term for emptiness and great compassion. The pot being new or not new is for the purpose of indicating the nature of the support and non-support of the Dharma of practice. Indicating that which is encompassed by the second moment of the distinction of the accumulation of causes is, Subhuti, it is said, such as, for example, a woman born in a place with a nature of immoral wisdom, and so on. "Without making an eye-fence" means not plugging the place where water leaks with bark or the like. "Unrepaired" means not removing rotten wood. "Oppressed by the load" means desiring to enter into that which is oppressed by a heavy load. "Without crossing to the other shore, its substance will also change" means that without reaching land, the substances will be exhausted. "It will be completely destroyed" means completely destroyed without being obtained. "Wasted in the middle" means it will be destroyed in the middle and will be lost from the ground of Buddhahood. How can it abide in the future in uncertainty? Greeting this doubt with "Why is that?", the inference is that the cause is merely the absence of completeness, and the possibility of being connected accordingly is, Subhuti, that is said to be like this, and so on. Mentioning that the boat has an eye-fence made and not made is for the purpose of knowing the meaning of the practice being complete and incomplete. Indicating that which is encompassed by the third moment of the distinction of complete grasping is, Subhuti, it is said, such as, for example, a certain person, and so on. Among them, because the body is old, it is old age. Because of the advancement of age, it is aging. Well spoken and

Because it is free from slander, it is pure. The so-called "destroyed by disease" means being closely destroyed. Similarly, if one thinks, "Why is it like this?", it is said, "It is like this," and so on. Showing the example of an old man being embraced and not embraced is to illustrate that those who are embraced and not embraced by the wisdom of Prajnaparamita and skillful means, respectively, fall into or do not fall into the extremes of samsara and nirvana. This is an explanation of the Prajnaparamita, which is spoken from the manifestation of the Abhisamayalankara, called the Chapter on Examples, which is the fourteenth chapter. Showing the difference of not tasting flavors, which is showing what is summarized by the four moments of the path, is asking the Blessed One Bodhisattva and so on. In this regard, because one should please by offering body, speech, retinue, etc., one should, in order, be close, rely on, and respect. The so-called "become yoga" means to strive to accomplish by not clinging to the giver, the gift, the receiver, etc. The so-called "do not be arrogant about form" means do not grasp in a way that clings to the appearance of form; this is a synonym. Similarly, if one thinks, "Why cling?", it is said, "Son of good family, all-knowing wisdom is," and so on. Because all-knowing wisdom itself is the unborn nature in reality, it should not be separately examined in any way. Similarly, the so-called "combine together" means that from "completely dedicate all of this to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment" to "all-knowing wisdom is non-arrogance," the text should be combined with the four, such as the Paramita of discipline. The so-called "gradually" means that first, by clarifying the determination of self and so on, it is established in external objects, and after that, by explaining the nature of imputation, dependence, and perfect accomplishment, the three realms are understood as mind-only. After that, through the distinction of the ability and inability, correctness and error of the activity of true meaning, the two conventional truths are distinguished.
