It is so. Such wisdom is the antidote to all conceptual thoughts. Otherwise, knowledge with speech cannot properly experience how things exist. Since knowledge is contrary to truth, the path will not arise. Just like the stages of hearing and thinking, if there is no abandonment of afflictions, then the fruit of Arhat will not arise. Therefore, when a yogi transcends the path, just as he clings to forests and so on as one, being free from conceptual thoughts, so too will the wisdom that is free from conceptual thoughts that fabricate the apprehended and the apprehender arise. However, since it does not grasp the suchness of things, it will be said, "I have not seen such a Dharma." Only abiding in this is "Subhuti, it is so," and so on. Compassion for those with signs is the Blessed One's request for "those who have newly entered the Great Vehicle," and so on, so the meaning is not to teach them. The Blessed One's request for "However," and so on, is to truly summarize and show the special characteristics that should be known by a special person in two moments. Among them, "perfect cause and accumulating roots of virtue for a long time" refers to: naturally abiding and truly accomplishing, and the lineage of having special faith in the profound Dharma, respectively. In order to show that these two lineages will increase due to the blessings of the Tathagata, it is said in the second sentence, "Did what should be done for the past victors." Among them, the three words "profound, difficult to measure, difficult to realize" should be understood as the invisibility of the three natures, such as the imputed. The Blessed One's request for "If," and so on, is to summarize and show the uncommon special characteristics in the third moment. Among them, "in the stage of following faith" refers to acting in a non-attached way with actions such as giving alms by the assembly before the decisive stage. "Endurance" refers to the decisive thinking about the Dharma.
