Sapa'o. Because of the difference, someone asks: What is the connection between learning skillful means and listening to the Mother of the Buddhas, etc.? To answer this question, first put forward "relying on Prajñāpāramitā," etc. The meaning is that because Prajñāpāramitā can dedicate the roots of virtue such as generosity without any object of focus, it is necessary to learn skillful means, and therefore listening to the Mother of the Buddhas, etc., is indispensable. To explain this more clearly, the following quotes "Regarding this, someone might say this," etc. To this, it should be answered: "You should not say that." The meaning of this sentence is that you should not say that. To answer the question, "Because of the difference, what is the relationship between dedication and Prajñāpāramitā?" Next, it is proposed that "My those also are exhausted," etc. Because the mind and mental factors of the root of previous good deeds, etc., and their habits, are actually not produced. Therefore, the two sentences "My things, those things are exhausted, and those actions are exhausted" are spoken. Applying this to the main practice and the concluding stage, because there is no object of focus, the order is tranquility, delight, and no object of focus. Alternatively, because consciousness with characteristics, without characteristics, and with other characteristics cannot be grasped, it should be stated as it is. The thought is: Because the dharmas that should be dedicated are actually not produced, the wisdom of dedication has already transcended the path, so it is not suitable for dedication. Precisely because of this, through conceptual proliferation, relying on the power of Prajñāpāramitā, one has more faith in the illusion-like nature of all dharmas, so a person who is proficient in true skillful means can reverse the dedication. This refers to this meaning. In order to show the mind-training of signless dedication, next put forward "However, that person," etc. Things and non-things, etc.
