Such as striking with swords and so on. The briefly indicated words are for the sake of distinguishing through extensive explanation. Also, it is said, "If" and so on. If there is no difference in the meaning to be expressed from the extensive explanation of the briefly indicated words, then why is it used here as a briefly indicated word? It should be said that because the meaning of the detailed explanation by summarizing briefly must be grasped, so the brief is like grasping the meaning of the explanation. Master Yeshe Nyingpo said that in order to benefit those who are understood by mentioning the beginning to the trainees, and in order for others to accumulate the cause of understanding by mentioning the beginning in the future, and because they are proficient in brief summary and detailed exposition, they can tell, and in order to generate their seeds by teaching others in this way. It is said in the scriptures that how can yogis who only focus on the brief summary focus on all the detailed content? For this reason, a brief indication was given. Similarly, how can yogis who only focus on the extensive content focus on all the brief content? For this reason, the detailed explanation was shown. It is said that through this meaning, the indicative words are used to indicate, and similarly, everything should be understood. Weapons refer to wheels and so on. Others refer to stones and so on. For weapons and so on thrown by a person with the ability to throw them at that place, why do they not hit the body without any obstruction in between? Greeting with "If you think like this," he said, "Kaushika" and so on. The meaning is that because of the power of the nature of the practiced mother vidya mantra great and so on, and the dharma of heaviness itself, the obstruction appears in the middle, so the arrow and so on did not hit his body. The three words vidya mantra great and so on are used in the case of application and so on because they have great qualities and so on. Because it becomes special through special faith and so on, it is unsurpassed. Because there is no equal only through practice, it is unequal. Extremely pure

Because the mother text is pure, it is the same as the unequaled tantra, therefore it is dissimilar and similar. Someone may doubt, how are these great vidyā-mantras, etc., established? To dispel this doubt, the question "Why is it so?" is posed, and then "Regarding this Kauśika vidyā-mantra," etc., are explained. It is said thus: Because when studying the Prajñāpāramitā, loving-kindness, etc., precede, and one does not study for the purpose of harming any beings, etc., therefore, by eliminating the causes that lead to harm, such as short life, etc., it becomes the nature of great vidyā-mantras, etc. The statement "One will also intend to cause harm to me" means that one will not strive to become the cause of one's own death, etc. After pacifying all harm, the fifth action of attaining perfect enlightenment is: "Regarding this Kauśika vidyā-mantra," etc., are explained. "Will manifest the unexcelled, perfect enlightenment" means that the realization of suchness will become manifest. "Will attain the omniscient wisdom" means that after realizing suchness, one will realize knowing the realm of all dharmas. To indicate this, "Unexcelled, perfect," etc., are explained. "To the mind" is a close indication, therefore it is a summary of all dharmas. "Will see distinctly" means that one will know. Are not all the wisdoms of yogis considered to be without an object? If so, how can one distinctly know all dharmas? To dispel this doubt, the question "Why is it so?" is posed, and then "Regarding this Kauśika vidyā-mantra," etc., are explained. Attainment is because one has abandoned the two obscurations of the uninterrupted path, along with their habitual tendencies. Knowing is because, through the path of liberation, one possesses the wisdom of knowing all aspects. Manifestation is because it is determined by the pure worldly wisdom. It is taught thus: For example, the knowledge of seeing truth in a dream, although it is without an object in ultimate reality, due to the difference of the basis, without relying on signs and scriptures, one can determine each object.
