Etc. were spoken. Not abiding is because momentary impermanent things do not exist. Not not abiding is also because without a place, there is no negation. Not harmoniously abiding is because there is no constant impermanent thing, so abiding differently is not subsequently attained. Not not harmoniously abiding is also because there is no object to be negated in the same way. "One should train in this way" refers to the stage of application. "One should abide in this way, one should train in this way" refers to the stage of the main practice. "One should train in this way" is related to the previous one. "One should abide well in the manner of not abiding" means that like an illusionary person, one abides well by obtaining special realization in the manner of not having manifest attachment, that is, "one should train in this way," which is also related to the stage of entering here. After extensively showing realization in this way, the statement of conclusion is "in this," etc. What will happen then? "One should train in this way," etc. were said. By meditating in this way, one abides by becoming the abode of the perfection of wisdom, which is the supreme nature of the realized Dharma. By itself, it will not be separated from this attention. "Is" means the meaning of completing the discussion. The meaning of the words is this: Because the Tathagata, after attaining complete enlightenment and becoming a Buddha, did not see any Dharma in that reality, therefore these things only appear as the nature of illusion. By meditating on the unseeable, which is established by the reason that the measure of a person has not seen, the fruit of entering the stream grows, and one should not abide in the manner of manifesting attachment to the ten, such as entering the stream, etc. One should meditate in this way. It is said thus: Starting from the ten grounds, by showing the increase of non-abiding, it is said to become the supreme of Dharma. Why? Because the Buddha, after knowing, did not see the Dharmas. It was spoken thus. Although the solitary realizer path should be spoken below the Hearer path, but who to those

If other paths change, how are the Shravakas superior to them? To dispel this doubt, for the time being, to establish the meaning of superiority, it is said, starting from "Then, from that retinue," etc. The so-called "Whatever exists," because it is an abbreviated form of a suffix, is synonymous with "whatever was previously heard." The so-called "sound of Yakshas" refers to the sounds that those Yakshas themselves conventionally agree upon. The word is an abbreviation of tone. The so-called "telling" refers to the complete fulfillment of the meaning one wants to express, and is synonymous with "great purity." The so-called "detailed telling" refers to speaking in terms of questions and answers from that and that gateway of the topic. The so-called "they say," i.e., "can it be known," refers to understanding those contents that contain meaning through conventional expression. The so-called "Venerable Subhuti, what do you say and tell," etc. The scriptures say that Shravakas rely on the teachings of others to realize their own Bodhi, while Pratyekabuddhas, through the manifest aggregation of previous hearing, etc., do not rely on the teachings of others but manifestly realize their own Bodhi. Therefore, Buddhas, etc., do not teach them, which is a special intervention. Because of this reason, those spoken about regarding Pratyekabuddhas, i.e., "do not understand its meaning," is the meaning of the words. The meaning of "explaining," etc., has already been said. Or, teaching after praying is explaining. Answering after asking is detailed telling. Both of these are teaching for the sake of ignorant disciples, which is instruction. For the sake of the negligent, going and specifically telling is approximate instruction. The sons of gods should know that this thought is due to the power of the Tathagata. Otherwise, starting from the Pratyekabuddhas, if the noble Subhuti does not say anything, how would they generate thoughts? To acknowledge "understanding properly," it is said, "The sons of gods cannot know," etc. What is said, "cannot know," is good.
