What is the cause? It is the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. All of these are explained in the chapter on instructions. By these alone, all meanings become complete, so the ten instructions, as mentioned before, are explained in order as follows. As it is said: "Practice and truths, and the Three Jewels such as the Buddha, without attachment, without weariness, and the path is completely held, the five eyes and direct perception, the six qualities and the path of seeing, the practice called instructions, should be known as the nature of ten." So it is said. Although this is so, in the chapter on the Sangha Jewel, the distinctions of Bodhisattvas with dull and sharp faculties, etc., should be understood as follows: Based on the sixteen moments of the path of seeing, which are summarized by knowing the path itself, as explained below, the fifteen moments of the mind of the path of seeing, due to the difference between faith and following the Dharma, there are two types of those who enter the first fruit. After that, those who have not separated from desire in the desire realm enter the stream-enterer fruit in the sixteenth moment of the mind of the path of seeing. After that, having abandoned between four types of afflictions on the path of cultivation, only because they are born into the lineage of gods and humans, there are two other types. After that, having abandoned the five types of afflictions that are practiced in the desire realm, when entering the second fruit, those who are obtained by dull and sharp faculties, by faith and by sight, are only one type. After that, having abandoned the six types of afflictions that are practiced in the desire realm, it is the once-returner fruit. After that, that one is born among the gods, because there is nothing remaining, it is another interruption. After that, having abandoned the seventh and eighth types of afflictions that are practiced in the desire realm, like the former, those who are obtained by faith and by sight, those who enter the third fruit are one type. After that, having abandoned the ninth type of affliction that is practiced in the desire realm, it is called the non-returner fruit, and this should also be known as five types. Among them, the bond of birth has been severed, but because the bond of manifest realization has not been severed, manifest realization occurs in the intermediate existence.

Or, in existence, when the path is directly realized in the intermediate state (Tibetan: སྲིད་པ་བར་མ), and the cessation of suffering is attained, it is complete nirvana in the intermediate state. Because both pervasive attachments have not been abandoned, attaining the cessation of suffering after being born in the realm of form is complete nirvana after birth. Similarly, attaining the cessation of suffering by directly realizing the path with active conceptualization after birth is complete nirvana with active conceptualization. Conversely, it is complete nirvana without active conceptualization. The fifth is moving upwards. That is, going to the end of Akanishta and going to the end of the peak of existence. Among them, going to the end of Akanishta has three ways: leaping, half-leaping, and entering Akanishta through death transference in all places. Going to the end of the peak of existence is to be free from desire for form, to attain peace in the present dharma, and two other ways of physical manifestation. After that, abandoning the eighth affliction of the peak of existence is to enter the fruit of Arhat. After that, focusing only on the Hearer's Pitaka, because one directly realizes one's own path, one becomes a Pratyekabuddha when a Buddha does not appear, that is, twenty kinds. Thus, this matter is widely explained in the Twenty-five Thousand Verses, and in the Sutra of the Wheel of Non-Regression, from the Bodhisattva following with faith to the Bodhisattva Pratyekabuddha, the Blessed One has very clearly explained the classification of individuals, so one should also look at those scriptures. Here, because of the fear of lengthy texts, we have not listed them, what is the point of repeating what has already been made? Moreover, the individuals who abide in the first and second fruits, and who have entered the fourth fruit, are not briefly explained because they are easy to understand. As it is said: Those with dull and sharp faculties, faith and vision obtained, From lineage to lineage, one lifetime or born in the intermediate state, doers and non-doers, go to Akanishta, Three leaps to the end of the peak of existence, desire for form.
