Now. Therefore, if the question is raised, "Why is there no attachment to form?" then it is answered with "It is like this," etc. Because whatever is unborn and unceasing is not form, because it appears as form in conventional truth. Among them, the impermanent dharma that exists only for a moment is cessation. By preventing it, there is no cessation. Because it is diverse in conventional truth, therefore, unborn and unceasing, and form, in ultimate truth, abide in unborn and unceasing, so they are non-dual. This is the same nature as unborn, etc. Because it is indivisible, it is devoid of the measure that makes it two entities. If that is so, how is it established as form? Then it is answered with "any," etc. The so-called form is a conventional name given to what is non-dual, such as form being unreasonable, etc., it is a nominal establishment. Because one cannot obtain a definite liberation without realizing all-knowingness, therefore, after that, in order to show the definite arising of all-knowingness. The Blessed One said, "Thus," etc. "Thus" is used in conjunction with "all aspects." "In the Perfection of Wisdom" refers to all-knowingness. The so-called "for the sake of definite arising" is the remainder. All dharmas are form, etc. "In all aspects" refers to aspects such as non-entity. This is the difference in action, that is, when one completely focuses on all dharmas such as form. The so-called "at that time" refers to the time of direct perception. "Not clinging to form," etc., because it is repeated again from another aspect, there is no fault of repetition. If that is so, then practicing austerities for the sake of sentient beings is unreasonable, with this thought in mind, therefore, he said, "Therefore," etc. Because form, etc., are two with unborn and unceasing, etc.

Because of the cause of being without self-nature, as previously said, "not clinging to form," etc., the meaning that I understand is that Bodhisattvas are also unborn. This is also because of the nature of form, etc. If it is admitted to be so, in order to show the fault, "if" etc. are said. The word "what" means abandonment, meaning that because there is no birth and no cessation, it is not practiced. "With the meaning of sentient beings," etc., means that since it has already been allocated, what joy and meaning is there in experiencing the suffering of those sentient beings who are suffering? This is because it is considered that there are no sentient beings, etc. Venerable Shariputra, I and others are saying the answer. Thinking this way in my heart: If Bodhisattvas are also unborn, then in the ultimate truth, asceticism becomes meaningless. If this inference is established, then at that time, because practice is unreasonable, it is established on the basis of what has already been established. Or, if it is so in the conventional truth, then at that time the Bodhisattva is not unborn, because it appears as birth. Therefore, thinking about how practice can be contradictory? It should also not be thought about how asceticism is practiced in the conventional truth, what is said is "with the thought of asceticism," etc. "Practicing with the thought of asceticism," here "difficult to practice" is superfluous. Isn't it only Bodhisattvas who do difficult practices such as giving up their heads? Why would there be no thought of asceticism? In order to eliminate this doubt, welcoming with "why?", said "Venerable Shariputra," etc. Because if the thought of asceticism arises, the affairs of sentient beings cannot be accomplished, because the true practice cannot be perfected. Therefore, considering that if one practices generosity etc. with the thought of asceticism, then he does not accomplish the affairs of sentient beings, so he will not become a Bodhisattva. So, how can it be done? However, only with the thought of happiness.

It is said, "Having done," and so on. Because there is no stinginess, etc., in giving, etc., the perception of ease is the perception of happiness. Similarly, one should generate the perception of mother, etc., generally for all sentient beings, or especially for men and women, according to the degree of age, appropriately generating the perception of mother, etc., and when practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, one should think that at that time one is able to accomplish the purpose. In order to bring that closer, it is said, "Therefore," and so on. The word "also" here refers to approaching men and women of similar age with the perception of brothers and sisters. How should one generate the perception of oneself? It is said, "How oneself," and so on. By generating pride in oneself, one's own continuum is oneself. To be liberated from and eliminate all suffering is to be liberated from and eliminate the suffering of formations, etc. In other ways, I have also said to all sentient beings, etc., that "not completely abandoning" is with the thought and action of great compassion. "Liberation" means accomplishing such a thing. When? It is said, "My body," and so on. "Even if my body is cut into a hundred pieces" means to strongly combine those with the things to be done. Otherwise, what would be so special? "When small" means at the end. "Also, not generating harmful thoughts" means not being angry. To conclude that, it is said, "Thus," and so on. "Thus" means the mind that was just spoken of. Conduct is giving, etc. "Abiding" means in the four postures. Thus, having shown the absence of difficult perception through relying on conventional conduct, in order to show reliance on ultimate truth, it is said, "Shariputra, the venerable one, also," and so on. "From all" means with direct perception, etc., as the measure. "All" means the principle of pervasiveness and the other side. "All kinds" means sentient beings and life, etc.
