The conceptualization of elements, the conceptualization established in realms, the conceptualization established in dependent arising, the conceptualization established in purification, the conceptualization established in the path of seeing, the conceptualization established in the path of meditation, the conceptualization established in the path of distinction, and the conceptualization established in the path of no more learning. It is said thus: 'Substance and imputation, the clinging to what has a basis, are also considered to be of two kinds. Autonomy, self, etc., are the entity, aggregates, etc., are the basis, likewise.' Thus it is said. Having shown the possession of four kinds of conceptualizations, now, in order to show the nature of the virtuous friend who is skilled in means, it is said, 'Newly entered into the vehicle,' etc. 'Newly entered into the vehicle' means temporarily entering into the Great Vehicle. 'This' means especially entering with the distinctions of profundity and vastness, etc. 'Fearing' etc., fearing not abiding in that is 'fearing,' like an evil path. 'Constantly fearing' is 'being terrified,' because once fear arises, it does not return. 'Decidedly terrified' is 'possessing universal fear,' which is synonymous with 'not being timid, not being afraid, and not regretting.' 'If one has fallen into the hands of an evil friend,' this means not making a distinction between the conventional and the ultimate, and preventing the object of focus that has been practiced since beginningless time. Only in the sutras, for the beginner, showing non-arising etc., is the cause of evil, because it is the fruit of hell etc., and abandoning the sacred Dharma, therefore it is an evil friend. 'Falling into his hands' means the meaning of 'becoming worthy of being taken.' If the meaning of completion is spoken from the opposite side, and spoken from the door of compliance, then it will be very easy to show, therefore it is said, 'If one has fallen into the hands of a virtuous friend.' The skillful means of not being timid in mind, not being afraid, etc., according to what is thought, like the queen of the earth king, gradually all things in the manner of giving the sign of death.
