It is discrimination. In order to show the discrimination of not abiding in the noble path. It is said, "They discriminate and manifestly cling to name and form," meaning that they manifestly cling to abiding in the path of seeing and so on. Among them, name is the non-form aggregates such as feeling. Form is the form aggregate. In order to show the discrimination of the object, it is said, "They discriminate all non-existent dharmas by discrimination," meaning that they manifestly cling to that object. In order to show the discrimination of self and so on, it is said, "They say that those non-existent dharmas," and so on: If there is a self, then one knows there is another. From the division of self and other arise attachment and hatred. From these two and their connections, all faults arise. That is to say, by clinging to self and so on, one does not know or see the true path, such as the path of seeing the characteristic of selflessness in phenomena and persons, as it is, without reversing it as before. In order to show the discrimination of purity, birth, and so on, it is said, "Because one does not know or see the true path as it is," and so on, meaning that not being certain to emerge from the three realms of samsara is not transcending. Because of what, by clinging to purity, birth, and so on, one cannot comprehend that which is called the ultimate meaning, the true reality of the limit of truth. Therefore, because of that cause, one enters into the number of those who are designated as children and obtains a name. In order to show the second of the grasped discriminations, which has the support of the antidote, it is said, "They do not believe in the truth of the Dharma," and so on. Dharma is the characteristic of the antidote side. The so-called truth is the meaning of non-reversal. The so-called disbelief means that because it is associated with the discrimination of clinging to it, because it is established in a reversed way, because there is no experience of its own nature, one does not believe and does not particularly like it. From the opposite point of view, what is said to be established in a reversed way is also Shariputra and so on, meaning that with the grasped discrimination, in any purified Dharma, it is the remainder. That is also like this, it differs according to the distinction of the object.

It transforms into. For example, the discrimination of the meaning of accumulation, the discrimination of the meaning of the gate of birth, the discrimination of the meaning of lineage, the discrimination of the meaning of birth, the discrimination of the meaning of emptiness, the discrimination of the meaning of going to the other shore, the discrimination of the meaning of the path of seeing, the discrimination of the meaning of the path of meditation, and the discrimination of the meaning of the path of no more learning. It is also said that: By the basis and its antidote, there are two kinds of grasping discrimination. Because of the differences of ignorance and aggregates, etc., there are nine kinds separately. It is said. Some say that the first grasping discrimination is only the basis of all, and the second is only the basis of purification. This is the difference between these two grasping discriminations. Having done so, it is said that the first grasping discrimination is also the second, which is connected with the previous sentence. For the time being, the first is also the second, for example, the first grasping discrimination is like the basis of all. Only the second transforms, not the first, for example, the second grasping discrimination, which is only the basis of purification. Others say that the first is based on the basis of all defilements, and the second is based on the basis of purification. Because these two are the nature of explaining each other, these two are only different. The first grasping discrimination is said to be based on the existence of a person as a substance. The Blessed One said that the Bodhisattva Mahasattva should learn in this way, etc. Having said that, immediately after that, without making the two grasping discriminations, but learning with the first grasping discrimination, thinking whether or not to learn. Because discrimination is equally an obstacle, the Blessed One said not to learn, which is only the remainder. Because it is not reasonable otherwise, in the conventional truth, the first practitioner learns in this way, as it is said, Shariputra, etc. All knowing.
