It should be distinguished. The venerable Shariputra, it is not so, this is the answer. Because the samadhi of Dharma-nature, as well as the Bodhisattva, as well as the Prajnaparamita, these three meanings are mutually of one essence, therefore, it is not possible to separately show the special form, etc., as the object of focus, so it is not possible, this is the meaning. Also, how can the meditator not be shown? By welcoming the doubt with "Why cling?", answering by showing the appearance, it is said that the son of the lineage, that samadhi is also, etc. Because all dharmas are without inherent existence, not discriminating in samadhi is a supreme method, because of focusing on the aspect of Dharma-nature, that samadhi also cannot be known by the mind without appearance, because there is no proximate cause. With appearance, it cannot be truly known, because although things are non-existent, dreams, etc., exist. Also, the word "also" is not only appearance. Seeing this as "this" is because it depends on discrimination, it is so thought. If everything is not closely focused on, then meditation, the meditator, and meditation are not reasonable, so thinking. Shariputra said, "Do you say 'I do not know, I do not truly know'?" So he said. Thinking that there is no fault in the conventional, the venerable Subhuti said: The venerable Shariputra, etc., said so. Why is that thought? Welcoming the doubt with "Why?" and saying: Because that samadhi does not exist. That in reality is the remainder. Combination, etc., like a magical person, is thought to be due to the power of previous throwing. By showing without contradicting Dharma-nature, the meaning of saying "Good!" is said, that is, the venerable Subhuti, good!, etc. Courage is because you have generated the wisdom that appears there. Showing is to show that object of focus to others. Bodhisattva, etc., is close collection. The word "indeed" is definitely grasped, it is the concluding words that the part of determining distinction is consistent with this, and should be learned as such. Also how

So, why is it greeted with the question, "Should one learn through this sequence?" "Bodhisattva" and so on are dharanis. And "Prajnaparamita" refers to the nature that corresponds to the decisive aspect. In this way, because it is the most excellent of all worldly dharmas, it is the three aspects that possess the object and aspect of "the excellence of dharma." As it is said: "The action of that samadhi, prophecy and pride are exhausted, the three are mutually of one essence, samadhi is non-conceptual. Thus, the decisive aspect is corresponding, small, medium, and large." Thus it is declared. Thus it is taught: In this way, when one discriminates dharmas and meditates on the selflessness of all dharmas with an equanimous mind, when one gradually no longer clings to things with different meanings, because there is no manifest clinging, the light of wisdom slightly appears, and one sees only for a moment, this is the stage belonging to the warmth of this place. And that itself is called the samadhi of obtaining appearance in this Mahayana. When, in order to increase that appearance of dharma, one diligently cultivates selflessness, and the light of wisdom becomes clear to a medium degree, that is the peak stage. That itself is the samadhi called the increase of appearance. When one abides in mind-only, and because there is no manifest clinging to external objects, a very clear knowing appearance arises, that is the stage of forbearance. Because one follows without the aspect of the apprehended, it is the samadhi that enters into one aspect of the meaning of suchness. Again, when there is no appearance of distraction that clings to meaning, and the light of wisdom becomes complete, that is the stage of the most excellent of worldly dharmas. That itself is called uninterrupted samadhi. All these stages are said to be the ground of practice through aspiration because of the particularly firm aspiration. A bodhisattva who abides on this ground, even if he is an ordinary being, has completely passed beyond all the faults of ordinary people, as well as samadhi, dharani, liberation, supernormal powers, and so on.

It is said in the Jewel Cloud Sutra that it possesses immeasurable qualities. Thus, after showing the distinctions of object, aspect, and causal nature of those that accord with the part of definite distinction, the first to be taught is the conceptualization that has four conceptualizations, the conceptualization that takes from the meaning, which is the basis of all things, such as the Blessed One said, "Bodhisattva Mahasattva should train in this way," etc., which is thinking what. Thinking that one should train in the conventional truth of speech, he said, "Train in this way," etc. Shariputra, not knowing the Blessed One's intention, asked, "In that case, what Dharma should one train in?" To this, the Blessed One said, "One does not train in any Dharma," because conceptualization that relies only on the basis will be associated with perversion. When one is training, why does one not train? Welcoming this doubt with "Why?", he taught, "Shariputra, those Dharmas are," etc. Because they possess all defiled Dharmas, they are childish. Because they are separated from all pure Dharmas, they are ordinary beings. Those themselves are not endowed with learning because they are separated from faith and much hearing in such Dharmas. Thus, by the power of the conceptualization of ignorance, as one clings to existence, it is not existent, therefore one trains in the conventional truth, but does not train in the ultimate truth. If it is not so, then it does not exist elsewhere in reality. Even so, because one clings to it as real, it will become a fault. Therefore, with such a thought, one says, "Blessed One, how does it exist?" Or, in order to eliminate the object of perversion, as one clings to existence, it is not existent, thus it is taught. Even so, it is not truly existent, therefore he taught, "How does it not exist?" etc. As it does not exist when analyzed by reason, if one does not analyze in this way, it exists conventionally only because it is pleasing, that is, it exists in non-existence.
