It should also be established here. Thus it is said that from the door of Dharma-nature, the aspect is to be grasped as being of such a nature. For example, in terms of ultimate truth, all phenomena such as form and emptiness are of the same essence to each other, therefore, emptiness does not have impermanence, etc., because of its absence, form, etc., should not abide in the aspect of permanence and impermanence, etc., therefore it is said to be non-abiding. Thus, acting in the manner of the essence of the Ornament for Clear Realization, in the Twenty-five Thousand Verse it is said: Form is emptiness, emptiness is form, and so on, up to the point where the Blessed One said, "Form's impermanence is also emptiness, emptiness is also form's impermanence," and so forth. It is unreasonable to meditate without mental engagement, and how can one who engages in mental engagement not be practicing? Having such doubts, the phrase "Why is he attached to that?" is used to introduce the statement "to all mental engagements." One might think: Mental engagement is conceptualization, and the Perfection of Wisdom is non-conceptualization. How then can one practice the Perfection of Wisdom by clinging to suchness with mental engagement and engaging in conceptualization? However, one should practice like an illusory person. Not holding, not doing yoga, and not perfecting are not perfecting. With these three phrases, one should view the stages of application, main practice, and conclusion as being in accordance with the numbers. "To the Perfection of Wisdom" primarily refers to the nature of the Ornament for Clear Realization. Among the phrases beginning with "not holding," "not holding" refers to mental engagements that should not be grasped. If one grasps and claims them as one's own, then the omniscient wisdom will certainly not arise. "Omniscient wisdom" here refers to the term "omniscience" in general for the three omniscient wisdoms. In other places, it should be done according to what is appropriate. How should mental engagement be grasped? Having such doubts, the phrase "Why is that?" is used to introduce the discussion of the Perfection of Wis
