Isn't it through the power of the Buddha, along with skill in means, that the Prajnaparamita is taught? If someone asks, even if Shariputra is very skilled in this, what is particularly excellent about giving the venerable Subhuti the praise of "Well done"? Although there is nothing particularly special, nevertheless, in order to benefit those to be tamed by showing the greatness of selflessness, or in order to dispel the doubts of future beings to be tamed, by the blessing of the Thus-Gone One, there is no fault in saying "Well done" in advance without dispute. When showing the greatness of the nature of no-mind, even if some people's lineage is uncertain, but because their faculties are sharp, in a situation that is in accordance with the aspect of certainty, because the difference in skillful means is inconceivable, it is asserted that they are definitely non-returning. This is what is said by "therefore" and so on. Because that Bodhicitta also does not generate arrogance, it is therefore in the manner of non-attachment and so on. Furthermore, it should be examined why the object is characterized by impermanence and so on, and this must be ascertained. In the eighth bhumi, everything is established as definitely non-returning, therefore there is no fault. Because it possesses the characteristic of being completely undiminished, it must be understood that it is inseparable from the Prajnaparamita of the nature that accords with the aspect of certainty. Furthermore, it is not only to examine non-returning. Thus, after stating the object and aspect, in order to show the difference in the cause of slight warmth, the Hearer's Ground and so on are mentioned. The wisdom that has attained the state of special knowledge is itself the ground. Wanting to study it, that is, wanting to practice it. "This" mainly refers to the supreme demonstration that accords with the aspect of certainty. Through the consciousness of eye-consciousness and the consciousness of mind led by it, the scriptures and meanings are completely determined, therefore it should be heard. It should be grasped through the mental activity of the nature of thought. It should be perfected through the practice of the nature of meditation, thereby cutting off. After making a vow, it should be read by reading the scriptures. Scriptural authority and realization.
