Therefore, because one should make offerings with great power, by the connection of generating the Thus-Gone One (Tathāgata), offering to this, even though it is different, is offering to the Thus-Gone One. If one offers to what one relies on to offer, then offering to that is offering to that itself, this meaning is clarified by the preceding example. The Blessed One (Bhagavan), for example, at what time, etc., is what is requested. To that, my Dharma is the gathering place of the gods, which refers to being located on Mount Sumeru, outside the city called Delightful to See (Sudarsana), in the southwest. After entering there, one contemplates the actions and non-actions of the gods. Furthermore, if someone doubts why one bows to others with respect, etc., then one is greeted with "For what do you cling?" The Lord of the Gods, Indra (Śakra), spoke to this seat, etc., the sound of "speaking" is for remembrance. In connection with this, if one offers to the seat, one is offering to Indra. Being known as having great power, becoming a cause and condition, for that, according to the order, by the distinction of the cause of approaching and acting together, becoming a cause and condition is also this. Being known as having great power because of great power is also that, so it is said that way. Accomplishing means generating. If someone doubts that the body of the Thus-Gone One itself is the cause of existence, therefore it is the cause of generating the Buddha, then it is said that the bodies of the Thus-Gone Ones, etc. Like this, because of holding all-knowing (Sarvajña), it is called the body of the Thus-Gone One. Therefore, that is not becoming a cause and condition for generating the previously unarisen all-knowing, however, because it is the cause of the later existence of what has already been accomplished, it is called the support. Being called the cause of the wisdom of all-knowing refers to the cause of the wisdom of the Thus-Gone One, offering to the Perfection of Wisdom (Prajñāpāramitā), etc., is the remainder. In order to approach, for the intermediate approach, "da," etc., is said. In order to show the smaller of the middle

Again, the Blessed One spoke of "Jambudvipa" and so on. However, the reasons stated, although the meaning has already been transcended, there is no fault of repetition because it is spoken due to other circumstances. Since the Prajnaparamita has been completely conquered by outsiders, the "bodies of the Tathagatas" and so on are mentioned. Blessed One, therefore, what is said and so on is a summary. In order to explain the middle of the middle, "However, Blessed One" and so on are requested. The so-called "from this" means that from the Prajnaparamita, which is free from perversion, it arises gradually through hearing and so on, so the stupa is worthy of offering, which is the concluding remark. If it arises from that, then why is it worthy of offering? It is said, "For example, because the Prajnaparamita has completely conquered." The fruit that truly arises from a very pure cause can only arise through very pure means. Therefore, the Prajnaparamita generates great power, thereby completely conquering the Tathagata, and conquering in all ways, therefore, it arises from that and is worthy of offering. In order to clarify this with a metaphor, "Blessed One, for example, the priceless wish-fulfilling jewel" and so on are requested. Because it is excellent, it is priceless and worthy of being priceless. The so-called "like these" refers to these that will be explained. The so-called "extensive" means full. The so-called "destroy" means to weaken. The so-called "not increase" means not to make it increase. The so-called "make it peaceful" means to uproot it. The so-called "become hot" means to become painful. The so-called "completely grow" means to spread. The so-called "torment" means pain. The so-called "darkness" means thick darkness. The so-called "hold" means to hold in the air. The so-called "place" means to place on the ground. The so-called "destroy" is to weaken. The so-called "eliminate in all ways, thereby becoming non-existent."
