Because the mind cannot pervade it. The nature of the earth cannot cause the results such as swelling arising from the faults of disease to occur there, because of the power of the law of dependent origination. This is what is said. Having shown the example in this way, in order to explain the meaning of what is said by the example, "Similarly" etc. are said. Doubting with a thought similar to the previous one, "Why is it so?", similarly, answering by showing the greatness of the place's own nature, "Kausika" etc. are said. Becoming a stupa is because it becomes a cause for accumulating merit by prostrations etc. Like a father, the word "becoming" is used to indicate similarity, because it is expressed by the word "becoming" which indicates similarity, so just because it is the same as other stupas, it becomes a stupa, some people think so. There, showing the selflessness of the person, whatever dharmas arise from causes, etc., the verses, considering the blessed land to be a stupa, there, possessing the mother of the victors etc. who show that all things are without self-nature, it is very clear that it has become a stupa. Therefore, just as "the root becomes the root", its own nature itself is the stupa, becoming the stupa, this is the view of the venerable Chandrakirti. It should be prostrated because it should be worshiped. It should be remembered because joy arises many times by remembering the qualities. It should be offered, it should be painted, it should be served, in order, with small, medium, and large offerings. It should be respected because it is placed in a particularly excellent place with splendid banners etc. The so-called should be taken as a guru, because it should not be surpassed in any way. Protecting is because it repels all harm. Refuge is because relying on it does not make practice meaningless. The place is because it has the freedom of incomparable joy. Friend is because it goes to the most excellent.

It is by placing oneself in that very state. As explained before, acting should be understood to be only of six kinds. As it is said: "From all taming, from all prostration, conquering afflictions, without being afflicted by harm, enlightenment itself, and the supreme support." Thus it is said. After acting, the path of meditation should be explained. It is divided into two kinds by the distinction of being with outflows and without outflows. Among them, that with outflows is of three kinds, characterized by faith, dedication, and rejoicing in accordance. That without outflows is also of two kinds, by the nature of direct realization and extreme purity. Therefore, just as with faith, seeing the support of virtuous Dharma is included in the path of meditation. First, the nature of non-manifestation, which is faith, should be explained. It has three kinds of fundamental divisions: for one's own benefit, for the benefit of oneself and others, and for the benefit of others. Each of these is different due to the distinctions of small, medium, and large. Therefore, with three sets of three, it becomes nine kinds, as follows: faith for one's own benefit, small, medium, and large; faith for the benefit of oneself and others; and faith for the benefit of others, likewise. These nine kinds, each divided separately by the distinctions of small of small, etc., faith becomes twenty-seven kinds in three sets of nine, as follows: small of small, small of medium, small of large; medium of small, medium of medium, medium of large; large of small, large of medium, large of large. Thus, there are nine kinds of faith for one's own benefit. The faith for the benefit of oneself and others, and the faith for the benefit of others, should also be understood in the same way. Among them, taking the small aspect of faith for one's own benefit as an example, words such as "thus" are spoken. "Of the gods" means by those who are pleasing. Flowers are those that are scattered. Incense is that which is born together and mixed, etc. Fragrance is sandalwood, etc. Garlands are flowers of all times.

It is expanded and connected. Anointing is the form of wiping the body. Powder is the powder of gold and so on. Clothing is the form of garments. Umbrella is the white umbrella and so on. Victory banner is represented by nāga ḍākinīs and so on. Bell is represented by vajra and so on. Banner is without signs and so on. Offering with many kinds of offerings means offering with many forms of food and drink and so on. Regarding "body," some say it refers to the form body. Others say it refers to relics. "Searching within" means placing. "Completely holding" means I personally possess it. "Holding" means making it last long. "To those also" refers to the stupa, and the word "also" refers not only to those but also to the body. In order to show that offering to the mother of the Victorious Ones is even more meritorious through that word, Indra was asked again, saying "Kauśika, therefore" and so on. "Manifestly accomplishing the self-nature body of omniscience" means generating the body-nature that can comprehend the wisdom of omniscience. "On which path" is a synonym for what is the path to be traveled. Because without Prajñāpāramitā, liberation is not possible whether going forward or backward, so with that thought, he asked the Bhagavan "This Prajñāpāramitā" and so on. Just like a vajra, it is naturally attained because it is initially possible to obtain birth, and then complete and perfect enlightenment is attained. Or it can be connected as, attaining unsurpassable, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and then attaining omniscience. Among them, unsurpassable bodhi is the perfection of one's own benefit. Omniscience is the perfection of benefiting others. Now, answering with that very word, he said "Kauśika, therefore" and so on. Regarding "self-nature body," just like saying that self-nature itself is the body, or like saying the body of tears, it is one's own.
