For example, it is said, "viewing" and so on. Some texts say, "completely observing and grasping," which means that from the difference of causes, the excellence of the result is manifested, which is said on the mundane level, and this shows that it is difficult to obtain. The so-called "pacifying all poisons" is because it eliminates the poisons of dying moments, etc., so it shows its own nature. The so-called "sentient beings, poisonous snakes" refers to creatures with venomous fangs. The so-called "hungry" and so on, hunger means that although afflicted by hunger, some people engage in offering to deities and do not need food. In order to distinguish these, it is said, "desiring food." Even so, those who manifest their nature do not seek food. In order to distinguish them, it is said, "one who seeks food." The so-called "some who have become living beings" refers to those included among sentient beings, and is a general term for frogs, etc. The so-called "smell" refers to the smell belonging to that living being, applying it, and so on. The so-called "following" means regarding what is acceptable as one's own. The so-called "chasing" means chasing and following behind. The so-called "returning" means returning again. Since it does not return even in the smell of living beings, how could the smell of medicine return? To this doubt, it is greeted with "why is that?" and it is said, " कौशिका just like that" and so on. The meaning of the words is that even in the mundane, it is because it becomes the cause and the result that the medicine itself has the merit of suppressing poisonous snakes, so it can suppress poisonous snakes, and not others. In this way, that medicine has great power, although it is different, it relies on its own nature. It is like determining the roots, etc. This is the meaning. Like this, because the Prajnaparamita itself can pacify all internal and external harm, so like this, cessation arises by focusing on all dharmas, so it is said that mindfulness arises. In order to show the aspect of the first moment of the path, it is said, " कौशिका just like that" and so on.

That. What are those? "Those" means a connection of words, which generally means anything is acceptable. Regarding "splendor" etc., the ability of the perfection of wisdom, which becomes splendor, power, might, and generating power, such sequential combination shows the path of seeing, meditating, and excelling. "From that arising" is synonymous with from where it arises. "Not increasing, that is, without and tending to quiescence," means that it should be known during the time of hearing, thinking, and meditating, or grasped in the state of combination etc. To show that meaning, it is said, "What and." "What and what" refers to the opponent, synonymous with from where and where. The three sentences "ceasing and decaying, not abiding" are no different from "becoming non-existent." If it is said, "Discriminatory thoughts arise, and no one else can stop them, why don't they arise?" To welcome this question, it is said, "The perfection of wisdom is," etc. "Desire etc." is generally summarized by the word "hatred etc." This word "between" generally summarizes mindfulness, abiding, manifest attachment, etc. "Grasping Nirvana" means clinging to Nirvana with remainder and without remainder. Manifestly practicing attachment to Nirvana etc., cutting off from the root, then causing quiescence. By destroying the habits of desire etc. without leaving any, it does not cause growth. Thus, practicing the perfection of wisdom can stop desire etc. and attachment to Nirvana. If one focuses on all dharmas in this way, then the forbearance of knowledge of dharma will arise on the path. To show the aspect of the second moment of the path, it is said, "Kaushika, the Four Great Kings," etc., meaning to guard, protect, and hide.

This has been explained. Or, know that just as distinctions are made between what is created by gods, what is transformed from elements, and what is of an inner self-nature, one should understand that guarding, protecting, and concealing are done in order. Or, there are three kinds of abandonment: arising from one's own causes and conditions, arising from the causes and conditions of considering others as sentient beings, and arising from the causes and conditions of not considering others as sentient beings. Know that the way to eliminate these is to guard, protect, and conceal in order. As it is said in the sutra, "When engaging in the practice of Prajnaparamita, the Tathagatas and others will guard, protect, and conceal in various ways." Therefore, if one contemplates all dharmas with Prajnaparamita, then on the path, knowledge of the dharma will arise. In order to explain the aspect of the third moment of the path, the Blessed One spoke of " कौशिका (梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Kauśika,汉语字面意思:Kaushika), again" and so on. The so-called "words are worthy of being heard" refers to avoiding actions such as killing out of one's own love, and taking this as a guide, abiding in the wisdom of all-knowing, in order to make others deeply believe in this, and praising those who abide, and rejoicing in accordance with them, therefore the words are worthy of being heard. Know that this is the meaning here, otherwise it is impossible for the words to be worthy of being heard. In the Twenty-Five Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra, it also starts from "I will also abandon killing" to "also praising others, rejoicing in accordance with them, thus the words are worthy of being heard" and so on are all explained. The so-called "words are gentle" is because they are pleasant to hear. The so-called "words are appropriate" is because one only speaks those words that can convey meaning. The so-called "words are not confused" is because one is skilled in expressing concisely and succinctly. The so-called "will not be suppressed by anger, nor will be suppressed by arrogance" refers to when the factors of harm are near, being tormented by the inferior state of mind of anger, this is anger. The mind that relies on the view of the perishable aggregate...
