It is said that when one knows the arising as Dharma, and when one knows the Dharma of arising, forbearance will arise. The meaning of infinity is shown only through the gate of negating the four aspects of arising, such as "Kaushika, because the object of focus is infinite," and so on. To explain the briefly stated words, it is said, "Kaushika, how is it?" and so on. The beginning is the previous limit, which is the cause. The middle is the time of existence. The end is the later limit, which is destruction. "Therefore" means that there is no initial limit, and so on. Abbreviation is saying, "Kaushika, with these names," and the names are the display. Thus, by the infinity of the initial object of focus, the aspect of the cause is negated. In order to negate the aspect of arising, and in order to declare the meaning of the infinity of the object of focus, it is said, "Kaushika, furthermore," and so on. Because it is separated from the previous limit and the later limit, it is infinite. The time of existence is stuck because it has become two limits, so it is completely cut off from everything, and the absence of that is unobstructed. Declaring that, it is like "the beginning of those," and so on. Whatever result follows the reversal and following of whatever, that is its cause, so the previous limit is seen, and because all moments are seen, the later limit is also seen, and because it is known as existence, then isn't it extremely existent in the middle? In order to welcome the doubt of "Why are the beginning, middle, and end not visible?", it is welcomed with "Why is it?", and the so-called "with characteristics and without characteristics by consciousness" is the consciousness with characteristics and without characteristics by consciousness, which is the remaining text. The so-called "with these names" means not only the previous names. Thus, after showing the two kinds of infinite objects of focus, in order to declare infinite sentient beings, it is said, "Sentient beings are infinite, without limit." As before, after welcoming the doubt with "Why is it?", it is said, such as "sentient beings," and so on. Here too, as before, it is taken out from the heart. Infinite sentient beings.
