It is said to be "expressing is showing and telling." It is also said, "For the sake of realizing the self-arisen nature, even if others point it out, it is not needed. The wisdom like a rhinoceros horn is manifested as profound itself." Thus it is said. Since there is no sign of the result, how can profound wisdom be achieved? One should not say, how can it be both a speaker of Dharma and a non-speaker? Because without discrimination and without examination, not speaking in words, expression is distraction. Therefore, speaking the Dharma is also accomplishing distraction, and also due to distraction, the mind stream becomes more disturbed, so thinking. When the Buddha Bhagavan was formerly a Bodhisattva, he made this aspiration: After I attain Buddhahood, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, even without speaking in words, may I be able to benefit sentient beings. Similar to the Buddha, the Pratyekabuddhas also made such aspirations. Therefore, at the time of their own enlightenment, by the power of past aspirations and so on, for any matter, in any way, whoever desires to hear, in their consciousness, in that very way, even without sound, that meaning will appear, therefore it is called teaching the Dharma without sound. In other Sutras, it is also said that the Pratyekabuddhas teach the Dharma with their bodies, and similarly, Indra also replied with verses in his mind, and so on. It is said, "For whatever matter, whoever desires to hear, for them, even without sound, the meaning will appear as such." Thus it is said. After showing the distinction in this way, otherwise, if the cause is not special, then the result is not special, therefore it is not reasonable. Therefore, the path of the distinguished ones is only distinguished, thus expressing the true path of the Pratyekabuddhas, that is, "Sons of the gods, therefore," and so on. Because you, sons of the gods, enter even the farthest from afar, and so on, having spoken these reasons, therefore, please also understand these others, this is the remainder. Thus,

It is intended to say that it enters into what is extremely long, and so on. Wanting to obtain is wanting to directly perceive. Wanting to abide is wanting to be without distraction. Therefore, "not relying on this forbearance" means that it is impossible for that person to rely on the path-wisdom that has the object of forbearance of a definite understanding of the Dharma, because if it were not so, understanding would not be reasonable. This also shows that path-wisdom itself is the object of all paths. From the perspective of the path of the self-Buddha, the distinction is shown by saying: What is the path that is superior to the self-Buddhas? It is the path-wisdom that has the nature of abandoning the conceptualization of the object of grasping, and not only that, but also the nature of the path of the hearers and so on. It should be combined in this way, and "it should be combined in this way" means that the sentence "therefore, this forbearance cannot be established as the basis of the path" should be combined with the three words "wanting to obtain" etc. of the fruit of once returning, which is the concluding remark. Saying "only abandoning the conceptualization of the object of grasping" shows that the conceptualization of the subject of grasping has not been abandoned, and if there is no object of grasping, then there is no subject of grasping. Thinking that this is unreasonable, it is said "How does the elder Subhuti listen to the Dharma?" and so on. "How" refers to conceptualization, that is, with what kind of conceptualization of the subject of grasping is one a listener who has become a vessel of the Dharma of the self-Buddha vehicle? The meaning is, what kind of nature should be considered a self-Buddha? In order to answer, it is said "Sons of the gods, my listening to the Dharma is" and so on. The idea is this: if there is a self-characterized thing, then the self arises from the non-conceptual mind that grasps it, and it is not without it, and if this is the nature of things, then, because it arises from the awakening of the habitual tendencies of one's own continuum that are abandoned when the consciousness of the conceptualization of grasping at forms etc. from beginningless time ceases, the conceptualization of grasping arises.
